Our Sunday Service: Parent Sunday
Elder Mazibuko ministered on “Growing the Next Generation to Inherit Our Faith.
He reminded us that parenting is not only about providing food, clothes, school fees, shelter, and safety. Provision is part and parcel of parenting, but it must never replace spiritual guidance, presence, and intentional discipleship.
Drawing from Deuteronomy 6:4–9, he reminded parents that the Word teaches us to love the Lord our God and to speak of Him diligently to our children, when we sit in our homes, when we walk along the way, when we lie down, and when we rise up.
The message was clear:
While we are busy providing for our children, we must be careful that the world is not busy grooming them for another kingdom.
May God help us to raise a generation that does not only inherit our houses, names, and possessions, but also inherits our faith.
