Sister Mamelo Nkoe was set apart on April 1st 2026. She will be serving in the Botswana Mission after completing her MTC training. We pray for Sister Nkoe’s success and safety as she shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the beautiful people of Botswana.

On the Saturday following the Crucifixion of Jesus, His disciples faced the sorrow of losing their great Friend and Master. Yet beforehand, He had promised they would not be left comfortless. In John 14:26–27, Jesus declared:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

When life is difficult, the comfort and peace we receive through the Holy Ghost help us feel God’s love, regardless of how challenging our circumstances may be.

All are invited to watch, listen, and participate in the April 2026 general conference this Easter weekend. Visitors to Temple Square can see the new statue "Jesus Christ Carrying the Cross," created by Michael Hall, who also sculpted the First Vision statue. It is a depiction of Jesus Christ bearing the cross on His walk to Calvary. President Dallin H. Oaks said, "This Easter season, we testify that Jesus Christ is risen. He lives. He is the Way. President Rosemary K. Chibota, who is of Malawian origin and was raised in Zimbabwe, will be the new Primary general president of the Church of Jesus Christ, replacing President Susan H. Porter effective Aug. 1.
