Title: The power of words

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and all creation came forth by the use of words.

Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
[3] By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Spoken words carry immense power to either bring life or destruction. We have been programmed by life to not believe that the words we speak are not important, yet when it comes to our faith, words are central.

Jesus declared, "the words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." When we lack faith, we speak carelessly because we do not honor the weight of words. Words are one of the things that destroy a lot of people's lives.

Our words reveal who we are; they must be thoughtful, truthful and gracious. Words can be a fountain of life, or means we use to dig our own graves. God desires that we use words to redeem what has been lost, for all creation groans, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.

We tend to personalize our journey around our problems and challenges, forgetting that it is God who preserves our lives. It is God's will, power and purpose working in us so that His glory may be revealed.

Romans 1:17 KJV
[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God is righteous because he is governed by law. He will not move sovereignly without being held by his word. It is important that we take God's word seriously.

Matthew 12:37 NKJV
[37] For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

The spirit of faith operates when you speak the word of God in faith, and it can change an atmosphere when you declare the word. Words are powerful, they could even erase your prayers.

True confession is agreeing with God's word. Everything God has done for you was to set you up to be a witness. We have to witness the truth of God's word. Don't agree with a situation that doesn't agree with the word of God, because words carry spiritual force.

Words are couriers of images. Speak the word of God, begin to see that word, meditate on it, and it will the give you the image that God wants you to see. Faith is the ability to conceive God's word. It was words that brought Jesus here on earth. Isaac and John were also a product of words.

Romans 1:15 NKJV
[15] So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

The issue of preaching the gospel is about lifestyle. Don't be reckless with your words. God will do anything in honor of his word.

Title: Faith for God

Romans 10:17 KJV
[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If the bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, then the opposite of this would be, "doubt, unbelief or fear comes by NOT hearing the word of God. This is what we see, majority of believers live the opposite of Romans 10:17; they are not convinced or convicted by the word.

A lot of people don't have faith, they believe and end there. Faith requires action. If you remember and practice what you have been taught, then the Holy Spirit can promote you to the next level.

Matthew 5:3 KJV
[3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

This means that when we enter the kingdom, we are not suppose to suffer or have issues. The qualification is to be poor in spirit. For the natural government to work on your behalf, you have to be poor. It is the same with the kingdom of God, you have to be poor in spirit, according to His standards. If we think we are fine and not poor, then we cannot inherit the kingdom.

Matthew 5:4 KJV
[4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Matthew 5:5 KJV
[5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

We tend to relate more with verse 4 than verse 3 and 5.

The question is "are we really meek?" Meekness means humility. A lot of people are meek because of circumstances. If circumstances were different, they would act otherwise. That is not true humility.

Matthew 5:6 KJV
[6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Many may want this portion just to get on the best side of God, not because they are hungry for God. You must have a heart that is hungry for God. Be intentional about pursuing God.

We are still talking about faith in God, however, we have to move to faith for God. Faith for God is not about us, it is letting God use our faith to do things on earth because he cannot just move sovereignly.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Most people don't want to live by faith to please God but to please themselves. "What is our motive?" You must have purity of motive, pure from pride and self gratification. We must use faith to seek him.

Faith is to please God, knowing that he exists and rewards. We need to have faith that takes and not faith that waits. According to Acts 27, when you have faith for God, you will survive every storm.

Do something for God. Go and win souls!

Title: Angels - ministering spirits

Opening scripture:
Hebrews 1:14 NKJV
[14] Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

Most of the time when we talk about angels, we think about protection. We don't realize that angels have been set aside to serve us.

We often think of angels as guardians, and also as small creatures like in a fairytale book. We don't realize that we are taking about giants set up to protect you. Angels that surround you are always ready to do the work of God. They are ministering spirits, and are also set up to give provision.

When God's word is released, it is angels that run after it to fulfill it. Prayer is the fuel of angels. If you dont pray, they don't work. We don't pray to angels, we pray to God our father. We don't have faith in angels, we have faith in God.

You have to put in the right fuel, which is prayer, and the right oil, which is anointing. You won't be able to release angels unless you have faith in God. Angels are below us, that is why the bible says we are going to judge them.

Angels have to be activated to go and work. Angels react to the word of God. When a declaration is made, angels are committed to go and do that work. We also have to recognize and acknowledge them so that we can assign them.

Angels are always ready to serve. There are angels assigned to everything, including finance, education, healing, the prophetic, ministries, etc. You have the host of angels backing you. The bible says that God is the Lord of hosts. Angels are not there to instruct you, you must instruct them what to do.

The purpose of angels is to minister to you and your needs. Send them everywhere. Speak the word, and the angels will respond.

Psalms 103:20 NKJV
[20] Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.

According to Psalms, it is angels that perform the word of God. We must have faith in God that He has sent his angels to work through his word. Angels are sent to influence every realm.

Malachi 3:10 NKJV
[10] Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Tithes activate the hosts of heaven to work on your behalf. God assigns angels to open windows for you. When you tithe, do it with intention. And when you offer, name that seed(offering) what you want to see and speak the word over it. Don't do it carelessly!

Send angels to work, don't let them sit. Serve God faithfully if you want things to work. There are angels working and prepared to serve. When you pray, assign angels.

Title : Have faith in God

The series of faith is to help us walk in the word of God with full access to his blessings. It is important to understand the principles of faith so they work in our favor all the time.

According to Jeremiah 29:11, testimonies are proof that God has plans and that those plans are to prosper you and not to harm you. It is also important give testimony because it gives God the glory he deserves.

It is important to know how biblical faith actually works. You must know how and when to release faith such that it works for you all the time. Faith is not magic, it's real! Faith is not some shady self-help technique or concept that lacks evidence.

Faith is the most important subject in the bible, because our relationship with an unseen God is dependent on faith.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You say you love God because you know He exists, that is faith. Everything in relation to God works by faith. We know that He is and that he exists. God is existence itself because He doesn't have a beginning or an end.

Why is it that God wants us to walk by faith? God wants to build us up to a level of partnership where we can discuss economics, technology and resolve national issues.

With God all things are possible. Therefore, it is important to understand the workings of faith.

These are principles to practice:
1. Sometimes you don't have to pray, believe in your heart and speak.
Mark 11:22-23 NKJV
[22] So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. [23] For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

2. Because Jesus knew we like to pray, he gave us this principle. Believe that you have already received what you asked for and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24 NKJV
[24] Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

3. The next one is to forgive. You cannot live by faith if you cannot forgive. Your lack of forgiveness shows your lack of faith.
Mark 11:25-26 NKJV
[25] “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. [26] But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

These are the principles you need to live by.

Romans 1:17 KJV
[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God's righteousness is revealed and justified when we live by faith. Righteousness is God's majesty, goodness and faithfulness. When you deploy faith, God's power and resources are released.

2 Corinthians 1:24 KJV
[24] Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

How will you stand when you don't live by faith? When we live by faith God gets the glory. It is by God's design that he deploys faith to us because he has dealt with every man a measure of faith.

God wants his righteousness to be revealed. Don't focus on the challenges you are facing or on witches and wizards. You have the shield of faith to protect yourself.

Colossians 2:7 KJV
[7] rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Our destiny can only be established by faith. You cannot move to the next level without faith. Being on the level of "belief", is being in the same level with demons, because they also believe.

Maturity in the things of the Spirit isn’t prophesying and working of gifts, true maturity is to be like God.

Faith moves the hand of God not tears. God moves because we believe that He exists and rewards those who diligently seek him.

When you don’t live by faith, you profess that God does not exist. It is wrong to believe or seek God only when things are bad. Start where you are to build your faith.

Faith and belief are not the same thing. Faith is acting on what you believe in, and belief will not automatically make things to work. The fact that God can do something, does not mean he will do it.

Matthew 9:28 KJV
[28] And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

Claim the promise and act as you're led. When you are exercising faith, there's no need to feel or understand.

James 4:3 KJV
[3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Faith gives you time to praise and worship God, as you pray ensure that you guard your heart. Don't wait for the physical evidence.

God desires to grant us our wishes, just ensure that it’s in accordance with his will. Get the rules of faith right because God responds to faith.

Title : You Have Faith

Faith is confidence in God. Real faith does not get embarrassed; it undermines totems and satan. Real faith is not timid. Real faith doesn’t consider your bank balance, what your health says or what your situation may look like at home.

The minute you set your faith in God, time stops. The issue, however, sits with principles and the ability to set things properly. You have faith! The problem is that we have an issue of making confessions that are unscriptural. Therefore it is important that we TAME our TONGUE.

James 3:5 NKJV
[5] Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!

Faith goes hand in hand with confession. Many Christians make the mistake of using prayer to fight the devil, and that is not scriptural. We speak to God by prayer; it is man’s means of communicating with God. But we offend the devil by the Word of God.

Ephesians 6:16-17 NKJV
[16] above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. [17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Faith is a shield, and the Word is the sword. We must then use the Word to fight the devil. Faith releases Gods ability for us to receive our miracles. When you speak the Word, you take a position of a king, and when you pray, you take a position of a priest.

After much prayer, we must exercise our kingship by speaking the Word to exert power against the enemy.

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
[12] For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

But after prayer and activating power, Christians use the sword (the Word) against themselves by speaking negatively instead of confessing the Word of God and offending the enemy.

We are kings because we have authorized domain. And Jesus, by the Holy Spirit wants us to reign and rule. Things appear negative because it is your duty to sort them out by using your kingship. Priest means Prince, hence Jesus isn’t King in Heaven because there’s already a King. Jesus is the High Priest. Here on earth, we have the opportunity to be both a king and priest.

Revelation 5:10 NKJV
[10] And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
I Peter 2:9 NKJV
[9] But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Your situation is waiting for you to speak. The strong man might be trying to overtake you, but you are authorized to dominate. Dominion is linked to your kingship. The work and schemes of the enemy, is to ensure that we do not dominate.

Jesus was a King, and John the Baptist (Levi) was siting with Priesthood, so John had to do a transfer so Jesus can be both King and Priest. That was the purpose of the baptism.

[14] For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

[3] Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

TITLE: KEEP WALKING BY FAITH

Your best resource is faith; faith in God. You should never look at your current circumstances or constraints and think they are impossible, because with God, all things are possible. The disadvantages you have now are actually set up for you to discover God.

Mark 9:23 NKJV
[23] Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Don't condition your walk with God and your destiny by lack of faith, you will not succeed. You must seriously consider using faith as a steering wheel and not a spare wheel. Don't try using faith when all else fails because a lot of people do that. Start living by faith when all else is still fine, in that way it means you are using faith as a steering wheel. Sometimes we view faith as a last minute spare wheel, and the problem is that when we finally need it, we find it flat and requires pumping, leaving us broken down far from any source of air or repair.

This leads to complications and challenges, making it difficult to fight satan and building faith. Therefore, build your faith now while circumstances are favourable. Actively live by faith, challenge yourself, and continuously raise the bar. Don't wait until you face impossible situations to finally start putting your faith into action. Make a decision of quality to rely totally on the word of God and the spirit of God.

We have to get back to faith to get going. It is the only master key that will keep moving is forward because God does nothing apart from faith, as he said that the just shall live by faith. (Habakkuk 2:4). Anything that you achieve outside of faith is your own effort and it's very limited. Don't live your life depended on someone else's faith or depended on your pastor's faith, instead, develop your own because you have the capacity.(Romans 12:3)

I Timothy 6:12 NKJV
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Victory awaits those who persistently wage the good fight of faith. Consistent meditation on the Word is essential for maintaining a walk of faith and fulfilling God's purpose. Through this practice, the Holy Spirit can draw out and formulate the reality He intends for your life. No one can go to a place they cannot initially see. What stopped the children of Israel from leaving Egypt is that they physically left Egypt but Egypt was still in their hearts. You can't go to a place you don't have in your spirit. If you're good at worrying, then meditation will not be a problem. We need to live in the spirit because meditation is key.

Psalms 119:97-99 NKJV
[97] Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. [98] You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. [99] I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.

What you then see on the inside becomes more real than what's happening on the outside. A lot of people's faith is based on the external, but faith has an intrinsic value and not extrinsic value. He's just waiting for you to use meditation to draw from him the image he mentioned in Genesis 1:26. The image of who you are is stored in God. As you meditate on His Word, you active the pipe of imagination, which is essential for connecting with Him and pulling that image into your heart. This continuous act of meditating and imagining what God has for you allows you to keep walking by faith.

Meditation on God's word is self-indulgence on the best things that God has to offer; it is like walking in the garden of God. Your mind aligns itself with your beliefs. A belief is a noun, which means the conviction or principle you hold internally. When you meditate on the Word, it impacts your soul, transforming that internal conviction into the action of believing. You then naturally act on what you believe.

Live a life of righteousness! Moving forward, keep walking by faith!

Title: A Place By God

Opening scripture:

Exodus 33:21-23 KJV
[21] And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: [22] and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: [23] and I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

There is a place by God which is a place of encounter. A place by God where the entrance is prayer. A place by God is a frequency, a portal, an open door for divine engagement. It's a dimension, a place in God where we enter into. It is a state of spiritual consciousness.

The kingdom's pursuit is for powerful, radical people who understand the intensity of prayer. Prayer is a governing force that shapes conduct and out of conduct, character unfolds. Character is a life unseen, hidden in us yet evident by which is seen through conduct. It is a state of the heart.

A place by God deals with an altar and that altar is one's heart. This altar needs to carry the character of God, it must not have any elements of another kingdom. When you enter a place by God, you come out with a form of God, and his aroma. There's no way you can be in the place of God and still remain the same. Anything you dwell in, you carry the aroma thereof.

Some people struggle with character because they never stayed in the presence of God. You cannot pray without the Word of God. Jesus is the Word! If you lack the word, you lack Jesus, therefore, approaching God is null and void. If you lack the word you cannot pray effectively. You can still pray, but it is not effective.

Matthew 6:6 KJV
[6] But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Entering might be physical as Jesus had said. These things may look physical but the entrance is always spiritual. You must shut the noises of this world. When you enter the place, you must stay there until he comes.

A place of an encounter with God is where your true life is hidden. There's a promise that the scroll of our lives will open once we dwell in the place of God's presence. This place is for them that are tired of being ordinary, those who yearn for more and are willing to pay the price to encounter God. It is an invitation to come up to a place of intimacy with God, where our lives are transformed and character shaped.

A place of God is an inner chamber. In the Old testament it is referred to as a private secluded room within a house. In Judges 3:24, an inner chamber is defined as a secret place. In 1 Kings 20:30, it is defined as a place of refuge. In 2 Kings 9:2, it was used as a private place for communicating significant events.

The story of the woman with the issue of blood is a testament to the power of determination and faith. She was tired of her situation. There are people who will find their solution in the secret place. In the inner chamber, there is everything you need.

A secret place is where God dwells, and you don't just visit there. A secret place is a place where we abide (Psalms 91:1). Once you discover the wealth of his secret place, you will never want to leave that place. Stay there until he shows up.

God is calling you to his presence, because what you're searching for cannot be found in men or other things, it can only be found in Him.
