THE CHRISTIAN UNITY

Being in the same space does not necessarily mean that we are united. Unity is **togetherness, wholeness, and oneness**—being aligned in spirit, purpose, vision, and direction. Genesis 2:18 reveals that God did not intend man to walk alone. There is power in partnership, because where there is unity, there is strength, courage, protection, peace, and a collective voice.
Jesus said, *“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”* (Matthew 18:20). The early Church understood this principle, as Acts 2 shows us that they were **in one accord**. When the Body of Christ comes together with one heart, one Spirit, and one purpose, the Kingdom is strengthened, and the voice of the Church is amplified.
But unity requires **agreement**. Everything we enter into becomes a partnership, and what we unite ourselves with has influence over our lives. This is why Paul challenged the divisions in the church when some said, *“I am of Paul,”* and others, *“I am of Apollos”* (1 Corinthians 3:4–6). We cannot build the Kingdom while divided in our allegiance, vision, or purpose. **Let your yes be your yes**, and let us be united under one Lord, one faith, and one Spirit.
There is authority in unity. Jesus gave His disciples authority as they walked in partnership with Him (Luke 9:1), and 1 Corinthians 12 reminds us that though we are many members, **we are one Body**. Therefore, let us walk together, serve together, pray together, and advance the purposes of God together. **“As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”** When the Kingdom is united, there is power in our agreement, strength in our partnership, and victory in our one accord.
