AFM Colleagues,

We as believers and church firmly believe in the power of prayer, especially collective prayer. Therefore, we want to call on all our assemblies for the next three or four Sundays to seriously pray for the following specific issues:

1. Rain. Several of our churches are already praying for this but given the continued drought, the fact that our dams are relatively empty and the reality of stringent water restrictions we need sustained and focused prayer for this issue.

2. The Economy. The challenging economic situation in the country means that many people are unemployed with an increasing number of individuals not having enough to eat. Let us pray and ask God for His Wisdom, Provision and Intervention for the sake of all our people.

3. Secondary and Tertiary Exams. Scholars and students across the country will start soon or are already busy with year-end exams. Please pray for them for the ability and opportunity to study, to stay calm in the exam and deliver their best.

We thank you in advance for your participation in this prayer initiative.

Over the past few weeks we have received many enquiries (e-mail and telephone) regarding the AFM branded tablecloths as used at the GBM 2016 and have already confirmed 95 orders. If you want to order an AFM tablecloth for your assembly send an e-mail to [email protected].

Greetings!
MG Mahlobo

LOVE, ROMANCE AND RELATIONSHIPS
Pastor Mahlobo took off his tire and coat, he then smiled with ease...

"What is the difference between courtship and dating?"
"Moruti, how long did you and Mma Moruti dated"
"Pastor is it okay to date when you are born again?"
"What should I do if I feel romantically attracted to some one"

These are some of the questions that the young people of HRC were asking their beloved dad Pastor MG yesterday afternoon at an epic gathering called which happens every two months in a relaxed environment allowing an easy dialogue between the old school and the young stars. The main objective of the fellowship is to bridge the generational gap in our communities.

"He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction." Malachi 4:6

Inter-generational reconciliation is so important such that if it is neglected the land will be stricken with total destruction

Right time, right place

Ecclesiastes 9:11
"... the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all."

God’s Word tells us that being faster, stronger and wiser does not automatically make you a winner in life. No, it is actually being at the right place at the right time that causes you to receive blessings. And God, who holds time and chance in His hands, is the only one who can put you at the right place at the right time.

He did this for Ruth. She trusted God for favor when she went looking for a field in which to glean. (Ruth 2:2) Then, the Bible tells us that “she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech”. (Ruth 2:3) Of all the fields in Bethlehem, she happened to end up in Boaz’s field, and he was a close relative of Elimelech, her father-in-law. This meant that Boaz was her potential kinsman redeemer, someone who could redeem her from her plight as a young, childless widow in a foreign land.

Boaz also happened to be “a man of great wealth” (Ruth 2:1), and as it turned out, he was willing to redeem Ruth. (Ruth 4:9–10) All these right happenings could only mean that God had placed Ruth in the right place at the right time.

I believe that the very day Ruth told her mother-in-law that the God of Israel would be her God (Ruth 1:16), God took note of it and made everything happen right for her.

Today, God also wants you to know that because you have said, “God, You are My God,” He will be your God of divine happenings. He will place you at the right place at the right time, where you will meet the right people, do the right things and even escape danger!

You may not know where all the great opportunities are, but God does. He was the one who put in you the skills, talents and gifts that you have, and He knows where you need to be, when you should be there and what you need to be doing to be truly fulfilled!

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

God’s Word tells us that we can have what we ask for in prayer—by simply believing that we already have it! As you are praying, know that you already have your answer or breakthrough—“believe that you receive them”. The Bible also tells us that we already have whatever we are praying for because we are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3)

And you are in Christ the moment you received Him as your Savior. So when you pray, you are actually releasing your faith to lay hold of what you already have in Christ. And as you keep saying that you already have it (Mark 11:23), you will see the manifestation of it in the natural realm.

In one of our church camps, a church member shared about the back problem she had had for 15 years as a result of a fall from her rooftop. She needed an operation to help stop the shooting pains in her spine. She had also been taking anti-stress pills for five years.

After coming to church, she realized that she had already received her healing through the finished work of Christ. Refusing the operation and even the pills, she would rebuke the pain which kept coming back, saying, “In Jesus, I believe I am healed. I am not trying or going to be healed. I am already healed. I have a brand new backbone for I am in Christ. As Christ is, so am I in this world.” It was not very long before this sister saw the manifestation of her healing.

Sometimes, the symptoms of a sickness or lack may return and you think that you still have not received your blessing. That is the time to release your faith and declare that you already have it. You are not confessing to get it. You are confessing because you already have it in Christ!

My friend, the Bible tells us that Christ is in us. (Colossians 1:27) This means that right now, your healing, wellness, family’s well-being and everything your heart desires are in you. So say, “I have everything I need in Christ right now!”
