On Saturday 5th October, 2019 a group of some 140 ladies from churches across Cape Town congregated to view a Simulcast event from the USA with teaching by Beth Moore of Living Proof Ministries USA. Presented by LifeWay USA and Scripture Union South Africa, this exciting event was hosted by the Somerset West Baptist Church and Women in the Word – an Interdenominational Bible Study group based in Somerset West, Cape Town. We joined thousands of ladies in other groups and churches around the world viewing this once off event over a limited period of time while it is available worldwide.
Beth Moore’s excellent teaching on “Strong Sisters” - based on truths from the book of Ephesians - encouraged and challenged all present. It was an exciting day, with good food, warm fellowship with ladies of many different denominations. There were wonderful prizes sponsored by Lifeway USA and Scripture Union. These pictures bear some testimony of the blessed time we spent together. Thanks to all who took part – worship team, catering team, SU team, WITW team and host church and of course all the ladies from across Cape Town who took the opportunity to attend.
All glory and praise belongs to our great God for His blessing of this event.
