Stephens Church is a Missionary and a worship sanctuary aimed at salvaging souls and transforming souls. Under the direction of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, we are directed by four pillars of mission imperatives namely: Evangelism and Church Growth, Spirituality, Justice and Service, Human and Economic development and Empowerment.

How refreshing it is to see a young and energetic generation do their bit to promote prayer habits. This street revival was carried out at 13:12 in the scorching sun in the Boipatong Community. Even when conditions were unfavorable, it yielded positive results.

Gracefully, God has brought us together for a common purpose of praise, worship, teaching, community buiding, promotion of family values and above all: to love! We trod forth with a hope that all our efforts will count as worthy for the uplifment of His glory and the welfare of His people. Easter has been one of those landmarks through which we commemorate the greatest sacrifice in all eternity. Thank you to all who participated! The world is facing a deep crisis of moral degeneration, social injustice, poverty, instability and despair. South Africa, our land is also having its fair share of crisis. Every single day marks the rising trend in horrific killings and violent crimes. It is now incumbent upon us as a people to go back to the basics that have woven up a society of good deeds and social welfare, the basics of prayer and redemption. St. Stephens pleads with the whole congregation and society at large to join in on a daily chain prayer at 21h00. We will be starting this evening. Join us in this cause and lets ask for God's mercy and even his providence over those who have lost their homes, their loved ones and most of all Hope in the disaster struck Western Cape. Let each one care of another! This is how we will heal Africa!
