Luke 24:16 - 52

When faced with a storm continue to seek God verociously.
Do not let your problems stop you from recognizing God.
Lack of fellowship is also a deterant in knowing and seeing God. There is a great blessing in fellowshiping with the saints or fellow believers.

Our prayer for 2024 should be " God guide our steps continually because we trust in you."

PRAYER ITEMS:

1.GOD please open our eyes this year.
Open our eyes as a community, church and families.

2. FELLOWSHIP builds a bond of trust among believers.
Let's ask God to create and revive a spirit of kindness, love, shares . Let's ask God to remove the spirit of greed selfishness and doubtfulness in the body of Christ.

3. Luke 24: 49
Lord we are not MOVING until you empower us. Lord until you give us what we need. Remember that we are in a spiritual warfare.
We should learn to WAIT upon the Lord.

Our God is a God of promises and has great precision.

4.Luke 24: 52

May the Lord be with us eternally.

TIME: 18:30-19:30

Scripture reading:
Collosians 2 : 6.Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord, into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives.

Greetings brethren as we take time to pray tonight , let us meditate on the above scripture .
There's many things that can shape us . Our situations can shape us , our friends can shape us , people we spend time with can shape us .....you can name them .
However Paul here encourages us that we should allow ourselves to be shaped by the Lord Jesus Christ .

The question is , who is shaping your life , the influence of situations around you , circumstance around you and people around you is seen in your actions?

Therefore if you are shaped by The Lord Jesus Christ , your way of living will also show .
When we are shaped after Christ , the Father will be pleased with us . God the father said about Jesus , " THIS IS MY SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED . This means if we are shaped after Christ Jesus , Father God will be pleased with our lives . BE BLESSED.

SECOND Scripture reading:

Jeremiah 18 : 1 The Lord said to me, 2 “Go down to the potter's house, where I will give you my message.” 3 So I went there and saw the potter working at his wheel. 4 Whenever a piece of pottery turned out imperfect, he would take the clay and make it into something else.

5 Then the Lord said to me, 6 “Don't I have the right to do with you people of Israel what the potter did with the clay? You are in my hands just like clay in the potter's hands.

DEVOTION/ PRAYER POINTS

Spend time worshiping and thanking God for the gift of Salvation ; thank Him for the Gift of His Holy Spirit who dwells in you . Surrender your life God and ask Him to shape you .
