Happy Women’s Day!

You are clothed with strength.
You are clothed with dignity.
You are not forgotten.
You are not without purpose.

Today, we celebrate women – not because life has always easy, but because God has given us grace to rise, strength to keep going and purpose to carry.

Welcome to a New Month at Arise Women's Ministry

Our August theme is Faith That Trusts and throughout this month we'll be exploring what it means to live a life of Surrendering Control to God.

Surrender isn't giving up—it is giving God access. It is choosing to trust His wisdom over our understanding, His timing over our own, and His plans above our expectations.

There are seasons when we don't have all the answers, but we always know the One who does. God has never asked us to carry the weight of tomorrow. He invites us to trust Him, one step at a time.

As we journey together this month, may our hearts become more confident in His goodness, more secure in His promises, and more willing to place every concern into His faithful hands.

"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal." — Isaiah 26:4

Let's walk this journey together and discover the peace that comes from surrendering control to the God who holds all things together.

💚Prayer Focus: Healing from Rejection.

Some of the deepest wounds are not physical, they are the quiet wounds of rejection. The pain of being abandoned, overlooked, misunderstood, or made to feel unseen can shape how we see ourselves if we allow it.

But today, we choose to believe God's truth over our past experiences.

As you pray this prayer, invite the Holy Spirit to heal every place where rejection has influenced your identity. Let Him replace every lie with the truth of His Word: you are loved, accepted, chosen, and deeply valued by your Heavenly Father.

Healing doesn't come by pretending the pain never happened. It comes by bringing the pain into the presence of the One who restores hearts.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are."— 1John 3:1 (NIV)

As we continue our journey of **Trusting God with the Hidden Places**, may your faith grow stronger, your heart grow lighter, and your identity become more firmly rooted in Christ.

There are hurts we speak about easily, and there are hurts we quietly carry for years. The hidden places of our hearts can often feel too painful, too complicated, or too personal to bring into the light.

Yet God already knows every part of your story, and He invites you to come to Him just as you are.

As you reflect on today's question, don't answer it quickly. Spend time in God's presence. Let the Holy Spirit gently reveal what you've been carrying, and trust Him with it. You don't have to carry tomorrow what Jesus is inviting you to surrender today.

This week, may your faith grow stronger than your fear, and may you experience the healing that comes from placing every hidden place into God's loving hands.

You are not what happened to you. You are who God says you are.

Healing is often a journey rather than a moment. God doesn't rush the process, and He doesn't overlook the hidden places of our hearts. He meets us there with His love, His truth, and His restoring grace.

Our Prayer Focus #1 is Healing from Rejection.

If you've ever felt rejected, abandoned, overlooked, or misunderstood, bring those wounds to Jesus. Rejection may have shaped your experiences, but it does not define your identity. In Christ, you are chosen, deeply loved, accepted, and secure.

This month, let us continue Trusting God with the Hidden Places, believing that the Great Physician is still healing hearts today.

Can we be honest for a moment?

What has been competing for your attention lately more than God’s presence?

For some, it may be busyness.
For others, worry, social media, work, relationships or simply the demands of everyday life.

The beautiful thing about God is that His invitation remains the same: Come close.

Think of one practical way you can make room for Him this week.

Our Scripture for this month is James 4:8

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

What a beautiful promise.

We are praying that this month will be marked by deeper intimacy with God, renewed faith and hearts that are fully anchored in Him.
