The Word of God is alive and it produces life in everyone who receives it. The Holy Spirit carries that Word deep into your inner man and you are strengthened, revived and made whole.

"The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63

Endurance is not simply the ability to survive hard times. It is the strength to keep going when everything around you is pressing in. In this message we explore what it truly means to endure. From the spirit of a man that sustains his infirmities in Proverbs 18:14​, to Paul's charge in 2 Timothy 2 to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

A soldier does not get entangled in the distractions of civilian life, he keeps his eyes fixed on his commanding officer. In the same way endurance in the Christian life is not produced by our own strength, it is sustained by the Spirit of God working on the inside of us. Though outwardly we are wasting away we are inwardly renewed day by day. If you are in a season of pressure, this message is for you.

Reminder: A Blanket for a Friend Drive

As the cold season draws closer, Presence Life Tabernacle is calling on our community to help bring warmth to those in need this winter.

You can donate gently used clothing (especially for men and young boys) by dropping off items during our Friday or Sunday services or at Hammets Crossing Office Park. Financial donations are also welcome via our banking details.

All contributions will be distributed across JHB communities. Every act of kindness counts! 🙏🏽

What does your daily devotion look like?

2 Corinthians 3:18 reminds us that as we behold the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into His image from glory to glory. That kind of transformation happens in the secret place, in devotion, in knowing Him.

Stephen stood before his accusers with a face that shone like an angel, not because his circumstances were easy, but because he had been beholding Someone greater every single day. That is what personal devotion does. It roots you in something unshakeable.

We are called to know God. Not just know about Him. Know Him.

Come, all who are heavy laden, for there is balm in Gilead. You whose bones have been dry and whose hope has grown faint in the night season, the Lord your God is about to breathe upon you again. He is opening blind eyes and lifting the bowed-down head. Broken altars are being rebuilt. Prodigal hearts are coming home.

We will be ministering and waiting upon the Lord, for it is in His presence that fullness of joy is found.

This winter, Presence Life Tabernacle is hosting “A Blanket for a Friend Drive”. This is a chance for us to come together and care for our community in a practical, meaningful way. You are welcome to bring gently used clothing, especially for men and young boys. You can drop them off during our Friday and Sunday services.

We’ll be distributing blankets in the JHB communities, helping bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most. If you are making a financial donation, please contact us for banking details.
