Heyy guys I wanted to share with you things concerning the holy spirit that I wrote in my Christian journal 😌
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
So the day of Pentecost came and apostles and thousand of jews were filled with the holy spirit
So what happened after that?
Those who received the holy spirit were gifted by the spirit
You receive 3 types of gifts of the Holy spirit :
# gifts of knowing
# gifts of doing
of speaking
So the gift of knowing concerns the following :
~ words of wisdom
~words of knowledge
~and to be able to discern spirits
The gift of doing concern
~faith for miracles
~healing
~works of power
The gift of speaking concern:
~speaking in tongues
~interpretation
~prophecy
Each one of us receive one or more of these gifts depending on our characteristics, place of servitude and the circumstances
It is important to know that no gifts of the Holy spirit is lesser that the other
They are all important for making the church and christian community function properly on top of that the gifts of the spirit help us to maintain our lives and relationship with God
The gifts can be found in 1 Corinthians 12
In Roman's 12 you can also find the gifts that comes from the one we talked about
- prophesying
- serving
- teaching
- encouraging
- lead
- mercy
Father, I pray that the people reading this will keep an open heart and allow you to work in them and through them. I pray that if someone doesn't yet know what their gifts are they will discover it
