Step 6: Praise God
Psalm 32:11 NKJV
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.
Praise is a powerful weapon against the enemy. It opens the way for God to manifest Himself in your life. When you pray, you come into God’s presence but when you praise, He comes into yours. Praise silences the enemy and shuts his mouth. He shuts down his operations.
Psalm 8:1-2 NKJV
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
You must learn to take the victory and shout in the face of the devil, “it is done.” There is no person who can doubt if they learn to shout. (Smith Wigglesworth)
Your enemies are turned back when you praise God.
Psalm 9:1-3 NKJV
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence.
So it’s time to praise. It’s time to give God glory, being fully persuaded that what God has promised, He will also perform (Romans 4:19-21).
Trust God, give Him praise, and watch how the Power of God delivers you out of trouble and moves you into certain victory.
Faith Confession
I will be glad in the Lord and rejoice. I will shout for joy. My enemies are silenced, they are turned back and perish at the presence of God. I am delivered from all my troubles and I have the victory.
