Never allow challenges to move you from the presence of God, even when the devil offers you a solution be always full of wisdom and knowledge because the devil gives with his right hand and take with his left hand.

But with our God whoever He blesses they are blessed indeed. Stay blessed 🙏🏼

WAIT

Acts 1:4-8

4. And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to *wait* for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5. for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7. And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I can imagine the sense of comfort and relief from the disciples after Jesus's Resurrection and Him showing Himself up to them for forty days.

They were surely comforted that their Messiah was true and was in their midst and will surely restore even the Kingdom back to Israrel. Little did they know that they were about to loose what was in their thoughts, that is, Him in the flesh but this time receive another Promise Who was going to be with them forever, the Holy Spirit.

Not much was expected from them but to *wait* for the Promise, the Holy Spirit. It was not said *how long was the wait*, they again had to cultivate patience as they waited in prayer for the Holy Spirit.

Jesus had made it clear that it was not for them to know the times that the Father has put in His own authority but their duty was to *wait* for the fulfillment of the Promise.

Some of our struggles and challenges these days are also about waiting for the promises of the Lord, waiting patiently and prayerfully in God. This is so difficult indeed.


Whatever promise it may be, God will surely accomplish it, He is a faithful God, wait upon the Lord, I say WAIT.
DON'T LEAVE JERUSALEM.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

The most challenging thing to do is WAITING. Waiting asks and demands a lot from you.

* You cannot wait outside of TIME. Therefore waiting requires you to be patient with time.

* You cannot wait outside of SPACE. Therefore there's a specific space (place) where you should be.

I'm glad that the verse answers these 2 above concerns.

The Lord is our *waiting area* and secondly we remember He is an eternal, timeless God.

Looking at it this way says, we must be sure of where we are as we wait. If I am sure that I am waiting on the Lord, I already have a guarantee of *strength renewal*, I must just work at my *attitude* which might be affected by TIME as am aware that I am waiting on the Lord who is not affected by Time.

Waiting helps us cultivate patience, perseverance, dependance, longsuffering and faith.

*Don't leave the waiting zone, God is faithful to do it, you'll soon be flying, running and walking*

Peace be unto you all

Ephesians 2:1-10

Grace and Mercy

Have you been in a situation where you know you don't deserve anything good because of your shortcomings and weaknesses but be granted favour and find yourself receiving?

Have you been in a situation where you also know you deserve punishment because of your sins and negligence but still not getting any of such?

Mercy and Grace are the two very important gifts from the Lord, both of which we overlook and neglect.
If it was not of God's mercies and Grace most of us would be no more and we wouldn't be having second chances in life.
Since we do not do anything to receive God's Grace, the expectation from us is that, once Grace hits us, we need to respond accordingly so that we may benefit maximally and also maintain good relationship with the Lord.
Lack of response to the Grace and Mercy of God is a sign that we are ungrateful and because of that we will not be thankful to Him.

May today be the day that we acknowledge these God's gifts and begin to thank Him for all the things that come to your awareness.
