Do We Care Enough to Bring Back Those Who Have Lost Their Faith?

Scripture

James 5:19–20 (NKJV)

"Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

Devotion

It is easy to notice when someone has stopped coming to church or has drifted away from God. The real question is, do we care enough to go after them?

Jesus never ignored those who wandered. He sought them out with love, grace, and compassion. We are called to do the same but not with judgment, but with hearts that desire restoration.

The Good Shepherd is our example. Jesus left the ninety-nine sheep to search for the one that was lost. He rejoiced when He found it and brought it home safely (Luke 15:3–7).

Someone who has lost their faith may be carrying pain, disappointment, or unanswered questions. Instead of criticising them, let us pray for them, encourage them, and lovingly point them back to Christ.

The Church is not only called to gather believers but also to restore those who have wandered. One soul brought back to Christ is a reason for heaven to rejoice.

A caring heart reflects the heart of Jesus.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, give me a heart that cares for those who have drifted away from You. Help me not to judge them but to love them as Jesus does. Use my words, my prayers, and my life to encourage someone to return to You. May I always reflect the heart of the Good Shepherd, who never stops seeking the lost. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Blessed Morning God s servents,Ecclesiastes 8:7
"Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?"

None of us knows every detail of what the future holds,not even what will happen in the next five minutes. Yet we serve a God whose plans are always good, plans to give us hope and a future.

Take comfort in the truth that God already knows what lies ahead. Nothing ever takes Him by surprise. In moments of uncertainty, trouble, or fear, His Word assures us that He is our refuge, our protector, and our ever-present help. Though we may not always understand His timing or the way He chooses to work, we can trust that He is faithful and His promises never fail.

Do not allow fear of the unknown to steal your peace. Instead, place your confidence in the One who holds tomorrow in His hands. When you trust God, you can face every day with hope, courage, and assurance in Jesus name amen 🙏

Good morning servents of God,Psalm 138:8 (AMP)
"The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me; Your unwavering lovingkindness, O Lord, endures forever; Do not abandon the works of Your own hands."

God knows exactly how to lead you to where He has destined you to be. No circumstance, delay, or obstacle can stop His divine purpose for your life. The One who created you is faithful to complete the work He began in you. Even when the path is unclear, trust that God is working behind the scenes, ordering your steps and opening the right doors at the right time.

Blessedweek ahead, Psalms 27:13 NLT. Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

The fact that you’re reading this on a computer or smartphone means you are also tremendously blessed. You have food and shelter, with money left over. God has supplied you with everything you need and more. Have a heart full of gratitude. God’s goodness represents everything that God is, everything that God has and everything that God desires for us to experience.

God's goodness isn't just evident during happy times. It's also present during challenges and hardships, providing us with strength. Blessed Sabbathday Servents of Adonai, "I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted."Job 42:2

Be encouraged today: you will become living proof that God can do the impossible. Your testimony is not built on having perfect faith or never experiencing doubt. It is born from choosing to trust God and keep moving forward, even when you cannot see how everything will work out.

God does not need ideal circumstances or flawless faith to fulfill His promises. He works through ordinary people who surrender their lives to Him. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient for every season.

If you are in a season of rebuilding, do not lose heart. God is laying the foundation for a greater testimony. What seems broken today is becoming the platform for His glory tomorrow.

One day, when you look back, you will not only remember your perseverance,you will clearly see the hand of God carrying you, strengthening you, and accomplishing what only He could do in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏽
