"Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." - Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV)

The call for restoration, therefore, comes from the heart of those who contend for the following beliefs:

Of which the Saints of God at Restored Church of God Jesus Christ Adventists International (a called and chosen generation) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed), by the will of God [that is, by His purpose and choice], and who are faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus:

1. Belief that there are those who have departed from the faith (1 Tm 4:1-3).

2. Belief that there are those who are eager to twist the Scriptures to theirown destruction (2 Pt 3:15,16).

3. Belief that there are those who willingly deceive others, and thus do not have Christ because they have gone beyond the teachings of Christ (2 Jn 7-10).

4. Belief that there are those who go forth with teachings that lead people away from the foundation of the word of God (1 Jn 4:1).

5. Belief in the authority of Christ as opposed to the authority of man in matters of faith (Mt 28:18; Cl 1:18).

6. Belief that there are those who do not believe in the final authority of the New Testament as God’s final revelation of truth to man (2 Tm 2:15-18).

7. Belief that all our emotions, experiences and behavior must come under the scrutiny of God’s word (Rm 6:16,17; Cl 3:17).

8. Belief that there are those who seek a religious following by promoting legalistic practices that draw disciples after themselves (At 20:30; Rm 16:17).

9. Belief that all believers should be united as the one body of Christ (1 Co 1:10; Ep 2:16).

10.Belief that there is a pattern of sound words to which we must hold fast (2 Tm 1:13).

11. Belief that we cannot separate the lordship of Jesus from the authority of what He says through His word (Lk 6:46; Jn 12:48).

12.Belief that the faith has once and for all time been delivered to the saints (Jd 3).

13.Belief that there is a difference between clearly defined truth and opinions, and that truth must always prevail over opinions (Rm 14).

14.Belief that matters of faith are bound and loosed only by God (Mt 16:19).

15.Belief in the individual priesthood of the believer to study the word of God in order to arrive at one’s own conclusions (Jn 8:32; 17:17; 2 Tm 2:15).

16.Belief that our salvation is by grace that manifests thanksgiving to God in our lives through good works (2 Co 4:15; Gl 5:6; Ep 2:8-10).

17.Belief in the one gospel, and obedience thereof, as the only means by which one can come into a covenant relationship with God (Rm 6:1-6; 1 Co 15:1-4).

18.Belief that it is not possible for people to direct their own paths religiously, and thus, all men must be instructed by the word of God (Jeremiah 10:23).

19.Belief that we can spiritually grow, but only as we are instructed by the truth of God’s word (2 Pt 3:18).

20.Belief that in the final judgment, all will be judged by the authority of the word of Christ, and not by the religious creeds and traditions of men (Jn 12:48).

We believe that Restoration invariably calls on people to make some very serious decisions.

It is the same call that the Holy Spirit made through Paul in reference to the religions from which the Corinthian disciples had to make a decision to leave. In quoting Isaiah 52:11, he wrote, “‘Therefore, come out from among them and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘And do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you’” (2 Co 6:17; see Cl 2:20-23).

A Persecuted Little Flock

When speaking to His disciples about the importance of seeking the kingdom of God, Christ said, "fear not little flock, for its your Father's good pleasure to give your the kingdom" (Luke 12:32). By no stretch can churches comprised of millions, let alone over 2 billion, be considered a "little flock".

Christ understood that His Church - His little flock - would be persecuted and despised by the world. Just before His crucifixion, He warned, "Remember the word that that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord.

" If they have Persecuted Me, they will also persecute you" (John 15:20). In the previous verse in the context, Jesus had reminded His disciples that "I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."Christ was persecuted, to this point of horrible crucifixion after a night of brutal torture.

Therefore, the true Church could also expect to be persecuted - and hated! Those in it are not" of this world. "The world senses this and hates them for it (Rom. 8:7). Christ used Paul to record, "Yes, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution" (II Tim. 3:12). The word "all" means what it says!

Consider what we have just discussed.

How many churches can we name that are small, persecuted , not of this world - and even hated because of it? Think about those you are familiar with.

Do any fit this description? Surely not many!

Ja. So much for all this positioneering, this religious emphasis on varied ranks in church structure. I always say, the church itself as an institution became waylaid by Satan's carefully crafted trap. Instead of sticking to what Christ taught when He reminded His followers that the chief purpose of His ministry was to serve, firstly, His Father by obediently doing, to the letter what He was mandated to come and do, even at the cost of His own life, and then secondly, to serve man. Yes, He served man. Remember Him asking so many times during His ministry ; " What do you want me to do for you ? " and wether it was a deliverance, a healing, a counsel, a teaching, advice, encouragement, restoration or anything else, He really did serve. He came not to lord it over everyone, never. Otherwise He would have forced people to follow Him, to believe in Hím. Instead He always made Himself the least, the hallmark of true servanthood. The modern church leadership would do well to revisit this and put pride and self-importance away for good. Your position should never be about feeling more important than others. It should never give you a privileged position at the feasting table or make you the only option when it comes to the spiritual needs of GOD' s PEOPLE. It is GOD'S PEOPLE, not your people! It matters not if they are affiliated to the ministry you are leading, they don't belong to you. Your primarily purpose is and has always been to provide a safe haven for them bywhile you strengthen and equip them for the Commission. Remember the Commission? "Go ye forth into the world and preach the good news to those that are lost...." Nobody was ever meant to be owned and held back within the confines of " my church" When will they do GOD's will if they are penned in as if they are someone's private property ? You also cannot teach people forever, no. Didn't Jesus show us how when He gave His followers The Holy Spirit and sent them out to do The Father's will ? Didn't He even repeat it later by sending out the others(72)? Ministry is meant to be a cycling process, not a gather as many as you can and keep them at all cost venture. Because the church has fallen for the devil's trick about putting an importance on ranks and positions ungodly tendencies has come into ministry, whereby resentment, envy and jealousy is barely veiled as people are constantly wrestling to be " felt" in the church. This also, has led to the proliferation of churches and the " competition" between them. It is interesting to note that Christ, who started the New Covenant church, that we have inherited, did not officially give anyone ranks in His ministry, even when a mother pleaded with Him to. What we deduce instead was that the three He drew into His inner circle were those who were the most " hungry " for the understanding of His teachings. They were the most passionate of the group, and therefore He brought them in. Scripture states " draw nigh/near to Me and I will draw nigh/near to you." The other fact is they were all called followers (that is what a disciple is, a follower, a believer) while He was still with them, but afterwards they themselves, in His absence started to apportion to themselves now religious titles of differing ranks, so that they might be seen to be more important than others. While differentiation in itself can be good and helpful in the church or ministerial environment to direct us in the various functions of churches, we had unfortunately taken these out of context in that we have now attached powers and statuses to these positions. Now people are more interested into acquiring these for the benefits instead of understanding that we are primarily called to serve. We would do well to remember this.

Fellowship in Engels
In Afrikaans: Kameraadskap, gemeenskap, geselskap, broederskap, of lidmaatskap

Doel van kameraadskap, gemeenskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap.

Die gemeenskap, kameraadskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap van veral Ware Christene (hulle wat die intensiteit van die Evangelie en Sending van Jesus Christus verstaan) is baie belangrik, want dit is in ons eenheid saam dat ons;

(Joh.17:22,23)

Voorwaardes van kameraadskap, gemeenskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap

1. 'n Basiese verbintenis tot mekaar. (Rom. 12:10)

2. Ons verbintenis, toewyding of blootgewing moet gebaseer wees op 'Agape'. (Joh. 13:34)

'Agape', is een rigting liefde, wat lief he ten spyte van, nie weens of vanwee nie. So n toewyding of verbintenis sal nie geraak wees weens die ander persoon se veranderlike of onverenigbare gedrag nie.

3. Ware gemeenskap, kameraadskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap is Jesus Christus - gesentreerd.

* Om ons sondes te bely aan ander, of om mekaar se oortredinge en sondes te bedek. (1 Joh. 1:6,7)(Matt 18:15).

* Gehoorsaamheid tot die Lig

(1 Pet. 1:22)

Sovele van die wêreld se gemeenskap, kameraadskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap is skynheilig, geveins of huigelagtig - vertolk n rol, en dit is nie eg nie.

* 'n Ware en opregte belangstelling in anders se welstand. (Fil. 2:3,4)

Daar moet geen versteekte agendas, by motiewe, gierigheid of self verryking wees nie.

C. Gemeenskap, kameraadskap, geselskap, broederskap of lidmaatskap in die Kerk opset beteken.

1. Om alles te deel. (Handelinge 4.32)

Daar was 3 vlakke van ontwikkeling in hulle gemeenskap, kameraadskap, broederskap, geselskap of lidmaatskap, eerstens hulle was van een hart (gees), daarna was hulle van een siel (verstand), en daarna gevolg deur die fisiese uitdrukking van hulle het alles gesamentlik besit. Nie eensydig of afsonderlik nie.(Handelinge 2:44,45)

2. Le Hulle Lewens Neer
(Romeine 16:3,4)

3. Toegewyd om mekaar te dien as broers. (1 Kor. 16:15)

5. Deel in lyding (Fil. 4:14)

6. Gee van Offer / Offergawe (2 Kor. 8:2,3)

7. Beoefen gasvryheid. (3 John 5)(Heb. 13:2)

8. Bou mekaar op en aanmoedig mekaar. (2 Thess. 2:8)(2 Tim. 3:10-14)

* Die vrees van en vir God (Handelinge 2:43
* Blydskap (Handelinge 2:46)
* Lewe in guns met alle mense (Handeling 2:47)
* Byvoeging van nuwe gelowiges (Handelinge 2:47)
* Alle behoeftes voorsien (Fil 4:19)
* Die verskyning van leierskap (1 Kor. 16:15,16)

Verbintenis / Blootgewing

Acts 2:46

"And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,"

“Continuing daily … in the temple”: Believers went to the temple to praise God (verse 47), observe the daily hours of prayer (3:1), and witness to the gospel (verse 47; 5:42).

“Breaking bread from house to house”: This has reference to the daily means that believers shared with one another.

“Gladness and singleness of heart”: The Jerusalem church was joyful because *its single focus was on Jesus **Christ.**(not a denomination but Jesus Christ* ) See notes on 2 Cor. 11:3; Phil. 3:13-14.

Notice that they worshipped daily. They were so thankful that God would even have them after their rejection of the Lord.

Nothing was too much. They were satisfied with what they had.

It was very similar to what Paul would say later, that whatever state he found himself in, he was content. They ate together and had all things common. They were of one accord as they were at Pentecost.

Acts 2:47 "Praising God, and having favour with all the people. *And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."*

“The Lord added to the church daily”: Verse 39; 5:14. See note on Matthew 16:18. Salvation is God’s sovereign work.

These followers of *Jesus(emphasis the followers of Jesus not a denomination or a fragmented sector* ) were so thankful to be saved that praises were on their lips continually. This period of time was not the time of opposition.

Everyone was still in somewhat a state of shock since the resurrection of Jesus.

Almost everyone who heard the good news of the gospel wanted to be saved.

We read here, that the Lord added to the number of the believers (church) every day. The apostles preached (planted the seed), and God got the harvest.

Revelation 5:5-14
[5]Then one of the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals! [Gen. 49:9, 10; Isa. 11:1, 10; Rev. 22:16.]
[6]And there between the throne and the four living creatures (beings) and among the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God [the sevenfold Holy Spirit] Who have been sent [on duty far and wide] into all the earth. [Isa. 53:7; Zech. 3:8, 9; 4:10.]
[7]He then went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne.
[8]And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense (fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God's people (the saints).
[9]And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. [Ps. 33:3.]
[10]And You have made them a kingdom (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! [Exod. 19:6; Isa. 61:6.]
[11]Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels on every side of the throne and of the living creatures and the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin], and they numbered ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands, [Dan. 7:10.]
[12]Saying in a loud voice, Deserving is the Lamb, Who was sacrificed, to receive all the power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and majesty (glory, splendor) and blessing!
[13]And I heard every created thing in heaven and on earth and under the earth [in Hades, the place of departed spirits] and on the sea and all that is in it, crying out together, To Him Who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed the blessing and the honor and the majesty (glory, splendor) and the power (might and dominion) forever and ever (through the eternities of the eternities)! [Dan. 7:13, 14.]
[14]Then the four living creatures (beings) said, Amen (so be it)! And the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves and worshiped Him Who lives forever and ever.

Good morning saints of the Most High God.

The Word of God today short and encouraging.

Turn to God in humbleness, in obedience, in distress, in disappointment, in brokenness, when you down and out - He will not and never disappoint you.
