A Farewell Filled with Gratitude and Love ❤️🙏

This past Sunday, our congregation and various organisations gathered for the farewell service of Proponent Lottering, a truly emotional and memorable occasion. 🕊️ Proponent Lottering brought us a beautiful and inspiring message from Philippians 2:1–4, reminding us of the importance of humility, unity, love and putting others before ourselves.

The various organisations and the congregation came together to bid him farewell through heartfelt dedications, touching poems, beautiful songs and sincere words of appreciation. Each tribute reflected the special place he holds in the hearts of so many and the meaningful role he has played in the lives of our congregation and organisations. ❤️

Proponent Lottering, you will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and forever appreciated by our congregation and organisations. Farewell is never easy, but we celebrate you, the role you have played and all that you have meant to so many. What a beautiful Sunday of fellowship! 🍲❤️

After church, we gathered around a warm cup of soup and enjoyed a wonderful time of laughter, conversation, and simply being together.

These moments remind us that church is not only about worshipping together, but also about sharing life, building friendships, and growing closer as a family in Christ.

Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make the afternoon so special. We look forward to many more moments of fellowship together! 🙏✨

A Farewell Filled With Gratitude, Love & Blessings ❤️ 🙏🏽

As the URCSA Die Goeie Hoop Church congregation, we invite you to join us as we bid a heartfelt farewell to the Lottering family as they embark on a new journey. ❤️

We thank God for the love, fellowship, service, and precious memories we have shared with them. While saying goodbye is never easy, we rejoice in God’s plans for their lives and pray that He continues to guide, strengthen, protect, and bless them every step of the way❤️

Women’s Day – A Beautiful Choir-Led Service 🙏🩷
Our Women’s Day service was a truly beautiful and blessed occasion, with the choir leading the service in worship and praise.
We were richly encouraged by a powerful message delivered by Reverend Windvogel, based on 2 Chronicles 35:20–26. The Word reminded us of God’s faithfulness and the importance of listening to His voice and remaining committed to His purpose.
The service was further blessed through song as the choirs of VGK Goeie Hoop and VGK Westridge ministered beautifully through music. Their voices lifted our hearts and created a wonderful atmosphere of worship and thanksgiving.
We thank God for the gift of fellowship, worship, and the opportunity to celebrate Women’s Day together. May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen our women, our choirs, Reverend Windvogel, and our entire church family.
To God be all the glory! 🙏🏽🌷❤️

As you begin this new chapter in your ministry, we want you to know how grateful we are for the love, wisdom and dedication you have shared with us. Your presence has truly been a blessing, and the impact you have made will remain in our hearts.

Although we say “tot siens,” we do so with grateful hearts, knowing that God is leading you to a new place of service. We wish you and your family every blessing and success as you continue this journey.

May God guide your steps, strengthen you in your calling and use you mightily. Please know that you leave with our love, prayers and unwavering support. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️🙏
