Last Sunday, we were reminded to fight for the love of God, to hold on and never let go. God is our sustainer and protector. Even in our weakest moments, He fights for us. Sometimes, God fights battles for us in ways we don’t even see, in seclusion but His victory is always certain.

In 1 Timothy 1:16–18, we are encouraged to fight the good fight. Your fight must be rooted in what God has revealed about who you are. Just like Paul encouraged Timothy, we are called to stay in the fight and not walk away. Simply remaining in God’s presence is a fight — it’s spiritual warfare. Being in His presence means resisting the enemy and standing against evil.

In Ephesians 6:10–20, we are reminded to be fully armed:

* Wrap yourself in faith as your shield
* Stand firm in the assurance of your salvation
* Take up the sword of the Spirit — the Word of God

When you face battles, speak the Word. Don’t rely on your own thoughts — declare what God says. That is how the enemy is defeated. Pray passionately in the Spirit, and release God’s blessings over your life and over fellow believers. Stay ready. Stay equipped.
