Torah Conversations | Parsha Korach “Korah”

In this episode of Torah Conversations, we explore Parsha Korach (Numbers 16:1–18:32), the account of one of the most significant rebellions in Israel’s history. Korah challenged the leadership of Moses and Aaron, questioning the authority and order that God had established.

This portion reveals the dangers of pride, ambition, and rebellion against divine authority. In this episode of Torah Conversations, we explore Parsha Naso (“Lift Up”) from Numbers 4:21–7:89, one of the richest portions in the Torah. Naso speaks of being counted, being set apart, and being lifted into divine purpose. We journey through the responsibilities of the Levites, the call to holiness in the camp, the powerful priestly blessing, and the offerings brought by the leaders of Israel.

This portion reminds us that God sees every person, values every offering, and calls His people to carry His presence with honor. Naso teaches us that when we lift our lives to God in obedience and worship, His blessing and presence rest among us.

Torah Conversations | Bamidbar — “In the Desert”

In this episode of Torah Conversations, we explore Parsha Bamidbar (“In the Desert”) from Numbers 1:1–4:20, where God organizes the tribes of Israel around His presence in the wilderness. Though the desert is often seen as a place of testing, Bamidbar reveals it as a place of preparation, order, identity, and divine encounter.

We examine the census of Israel, the arrangement of the camp, and the sacred responsibilities of the Levites. This portion teaches that God is not absent in the wilderness, He leads, speaks, and forms His people there.

Bamidbar reminds us that even in uncertain seasons, God has a plan, a purpose, and an order for our journey.
