So with choosing to follow God, we learn that God actually has a plan for our lives, but God staying true to His nature, gives us the choice as to whether we answer His call and follow the plan or not. The thing is that we don’t always listen for God’s call, and even if we do we often don’t even know what He is calling us to do, and if we are even qualified to do what He wants us to.

First things first, you need to answer the call. You need to know, understand and believe that YOUR life has purpose and God has a plan greater than anything you could ever imagine for yourself. You are called.
We are all called to do something for God and we all have an important role to play in God’s master plan.

Then the next thing you need to know and understand is that YOUR calling has nothing to do with you. Yeah, you read that correctly. So I know, this might confuse you a little, and maybe seem a little contradictory, but your calling is not about you. It’s about what God wants you to do so that He can reach others. Your calling isn’t for you or your benefit, and if you think it is, it’s time for a change of mindset. So once you understand that your calling is about God and His people, you’ll begin to understand that everything you do is going to be for other people, not you. So if you don’t do it, you’re not just ignoring God, but you’re also depriving people of the opportunity to meet God because you’re not living your calling and well, no one else can live out your calling for you.

Lastly, don’t you think God would have given you the things you’ll need to fulfill your own calling. I am pretty sure He thought through His own plan. That’s like someone asking you to get them water without giving you a glass to put the water in, it just doesn’t make sense. Of course, most of what you need has been placed inside you already, because God knows you’re going to need it, but some of the things you’ll need to fulfill your calling God has already planned for you to attain through life. A really cool quote I came across was “God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called.” So even if you’re not “qualified” now, can you trust that God will do what only He can do to “qualify” you?
Will you answer the call?

Who’s your inspiration? Who do you look up to? When you think of success, who’s image do you see?

Something hit me, and it’s such a simple thought, but it’s also profound. All the great people in history, all the ones who have accomplished great things and all the ones who have left a mark, have all had the same 24 hours in their day. They wake up in the morning just like you do and they go to bed just the same as you. The only difference is what they do with their time.

We have everything we need, in our hands, to accomplish great things for Christ in this life. And we know it! So what’s holding us back? What keeps us waiting for great things to happen instead of getting up and making them happen?

There is a subtle fear that kinda creeps up in us without us knowing it and that’s the fear of the unknown, the fear of failing. We all know that our hopes and dreams live just outside our comfort zones but fear is keeping us from taking the steps we need to take to make them happen. What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail? What if I run out of money? What if people reject my idea? What if I have to do it alone?

These questions stop us from taking the steps towards the amazing future God has for us. Remember two things:

1. Even Jesus faced these fears and had to rely on the Spirit to accomplish His mission. And,
2. Because it’s God’s plan, it’s His responsibility to make it happen.

He just needs an open vessel, someone who will take the first step towards the goals He has. If you will answer yes, if you will use your 24 hours, if you’ll get up and try, then God is faithful to give you an amazing future. Fear will either stop you, or you will overcome it and accomplish great things. You can’t fail when you are in pursuit of God’s future for your life.

So what are you waiting for? Don’t do it later, do it now!

Theres so many things that have been created by the enemy to distract and pull us away from God and it is way too easy to get sucked into it all. Theres so much pressure on us to be the “cool kids”, to fit in and to be perfect. But why can’t we see it’s just an illusion?

That whole cool act is just that, an act. Fitting in?? How are you supposed to fit in when everyone is so different, none of us would really “fit in” if we are actually being our true selves. We tend to water down who we are and what we believe in fear of rejection or not being accepted.

We are young believers. This is who we are and there should be no compromise. Not everyone is going to agree with what you believe and some may even challenge it, but thats okay. Not everyone is going to think its cool that you have devoted your entire being into pursuing God, but thats okay. You need to stand firm in what you believe.

You should have an open mind to listen and actually hear what other people think and believe, and not judge them for it. But you should not compromise what you believe just for the sake of someone else’s views. You should not be sorry for believing in Christ.

Throw away all fear, because although we are in this world, we are not of the world. Do not let the illusions of this world cause you to water down who you are.
This is what you believe, it’s why you’re free, do not apologise.

One of the most hectic statements I have ever heard is that “You prioritise what is important to you.” Now I know that’s pretty straight forward and there isn’t anything specifically profound about that statement, except the kind of thoughts it provokes.
You will prioritise that which is important to you simply because its important to you. So the big deal is; Do You Prioritise God and your relationship with Him?

See, we can tell what’s really in a person’s heart by what their actions and the way they speak. You really don’t have to look that hard. Even the Bible says in Proverbs 23 that “ For as he thinks in his heart, so is he”, and that basically means that what you think in your heart is who you are. The way your heart “thinks” will determine how you will act and speak.

So what excites your heart is what you’re passionate about, and you will constantly be running towards that because it excites you. Whatever is your heart passion, you can be sure it will come through in what you do, and you will prioritise that which sets your soul on fire. But God should be that fire. He should be whats setting your entire being ablaze and from Him all your other passions, dreams and desires will flow.

Sometimes we don’t even mean to put anything above God, or what He is calling us to do. It happens because we get so wrapped up in life and what’s happening around us.
If you ever want to know what is number one in your life, just look at what you prioritise.

If you feel like something is more important then God, then it's time to change direction, choose to seek Him again, put everything else aside and as He becomes your centre. He’ll take you back to all those dreams you were pursuing before.

Sometimes all we have to do it to trust God with every single situation of our lives. But the question is how do you trust God?

Like the book of Proverbs says -Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) we must not rely on our own understanding we find our understanding in the Lord.

We need to give Him the space to work in our lives and avoid all temptations from the evil one, the book of James says - Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. So that tells us that after submitting to God we are to stay away from bad influences.

Read the word of God, that is how we are going to draw close to God and learn to trust in Him.

We have the Holy Spirit with us at all times. He is the one who is guiding us, teaching us and connecting to us. God is Emmanuel, and He is with us. We have to rest in him and declare His Glory, His Goodness and His Love.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalms 37:4-6

Sometimes we just need to say: " Jesus I will trust, I will trust You, I know You never fail, I will trust You” and believe what it is that we are saying. We must hold onto what God’s Word is saying, make it absolute truth and allow it to pe*****te our hearts.

In life you’ll have many voices speaking into you. They come from everywhere, and you must choose which voices you listen too. If you choose to listen to the negative voices in your life, you will end up feeling like you can’t accomplish the dreams in your heart, or you’ll change your dreams to fit the way you see yourself.

You need to see yourself the way God sees you and allow the still small voice of Holy Spirit be the one that directs you.

Many times we get intimidated by the size of our dreams. When God speaks into you, He will show you big things, things that He knows you have potential to accomplish. And if He’s given you the dreams, then you can be sure you have what it takes to accomplish all those visions.

If you’re feeling intimidated, or negative towards yourself and your dreams, let God breathe new life into them today, dream big, don’t limit what God does not limit, cause when He speaks, it will happen!!

Psalm 119
[151]You are near, O Lord [nearer to me than my foes], and all Your commandments are truth.

If we were to give a title for the above verse then these would be appropriate "Christ Conscious"

There is nothing lifeless of knowing about Christ yet be absent of His reality.

The psalmist I believe had a revelation of who the Lord was to Him and was bold to know that He is nearer to him than his foes quite intriguing right.

Well, the Good news is that we do not live in the days of old but in what I would call the "Holy Ghost" days because we possess or rather full of the Godhead as the word would say, we are not anywhere nearer to this truth but we are full partakers of it (He lives in us and we are in Him).

And I challenge you this morning, in this new month that let all your sense be awakened and be fully conscious of Christ Jesus.

Apostle Paul said "it's no longer I that liveth but Christ lives in me" it takes a person who's fully persuaded a person full of revelation and conscious of He who now dwells in them once that becomes a part of you, you will start to experience true liberty, a victorious life according to 1John5:4 where all you see is His majesty than what is against you.

This morning I dare you to be Christ Conscious
Be aware not only of His existence but His realness in your life
That in this new month nothing is impossible for you, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. that you are unique and created for a higher purpose in Christ and you will make it because you have the Holy Ghost

Discover it, Believe it, Become it and see John 10:10 manifest in your life.

Nothing is worse than getting the cold shoulder from someone. Especially when you really need or want to talk to them.

I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like God is ignoring me. I try talking to God and nothing. Its greatly discouraging and then I question if maybe I did something that would have caused God to turn a cold shoulder towards me.

Truth is that God doesn’t turn a cold shoulder to us. He is silent but He is still there and He still hears all that we say, He is just using His silence to teach and grow us. You don’t have to worry or lose heart because God is silent, infact those are the moments when you should seek Him even harder, or in a new way.

But then why is He being so quiet when you need Him? Something I had to learn is that even when you don’t hear Him, He is still there. You just have to have faith and trust that He knows what He is doing. He never leaves you alone, but sometimes He stays quiet to teach you something, He wants to draw you near again. Maybe you’re talking more than you’re listening?

When God is silent, He is actually just trying to get your attention. Yeah, that’s a bit strange to think but He’s being quiet to get our attention. It works doesn’t it? When He is quiet suddenly we are super focused on the fact that He feels distant. He’s drawing you somewhere new, somewhere closer. He hasn’t left you, He’s just standing where you don’t expect Him to be.

It’s kind of tough to just keep walking and looking to God when it seems He is ignoring you, but in those moments just keep seeking Him, and listening out for Him, because you will find Him, and you will be closer than ever!

"What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?"
(Psalms 8:4 NKJV)

This passage asks God a simple question, why does the all-powerful Lord God care about insignificant human beings?

The simple answer to that question is we matter to God; so many of us struggle with the idea of anyone (let alone the Lord Jesus Christ) caring about us, a lot of us feel like we don't matter or aren't important, but you are important enough for the Creator of the universe to be mindful of you no matter who else isn't.

So when you're going through a time where you feel like no one cares, just remember that God that is mindful of you and willing to visit you.

The message is simple, you are important in the eyes of God, even if you are not important in anyone else’s eyes.
