When Jesus commanded the disciples to go and untie the donkey they obeyed the command and went and untied the donkey. Metaphorically we are like the donkey. We need to be untied and have God sit on us so he can be in charge of our lives.

It is not enough that we drift through our lives without receiving the Holy Spirit that Paul spoke about in Acts 19:2 as Christians and the one Jesus promised the disciples. We must crave to receive Him. If they needed Him then; we need him more now.
