Today’s Bible study was centred on Zechariah 4:10 — “Do not despise these small beginnings.”
We reflected on the importance of appreciating where God starts us, even when the beginning seems small or insignificant. A question that came up during the discussion was: *What do you need in order to grow?*
Some of the answers shared were consistency, motivation, and purpose — the things that help us continue building and pushing forward in our journeys. Whether it is growing in faith, growing our fellowship, or growing the Kingdom of God, growth requires intentionality and perseverance.
One of the key reminders from today’s message was that the beginning steps matter just as much as the steps in the middle of the journey. Every small act of faith, every prayer, every gathering, and every effort counts in God’s eyes.
May we never despise small beginnings, because God often uses them to build something greater than we can imagine. 🙏🏽
