MY ROCK, MY STRENGTH AND MY FORTRESS

I love you, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my Saviour, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the strength of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalms 18:1-2 (GW)

The first commandment is that you shall love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind and the second is to love your fellowmen as yourself. Love is the first principle that unlocks all of God’s benevolent acts towards us. We love Him because He loved us first and gave His life as a ransom to our lives. This act of love makes us love Him more and find our security in Him.

Confession: Ps 34:19, 1John 3:16, Ps 34:19
I am loved by God and have been accepted in the Beloved. My confidence and security is in the love the Father has for me.

Wisdom meditation key: Pr 16, Ps 16

Prayer:
Heavenly Father I love you with all my heart and soul, and mind. Your love that was shed in my heart by the Holy Spirit fills my daily with desire for you. Father let this love grow in me and let it overflow to those around me. In Jesus name.

MY SHIELD AND EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD

Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

To many people miss this great truth, that the Lord Jesus Christ is our shield and exceeding great reward. Just like Abram who miss it because he was so focused on not having a child. Not knowing that God is the ultimate blessing, nothing can compare to Him. Our problem comes when we look outside of Christ for what we call the blessing. We look at the material, cars houses, money, jobs to satisfy us. Yet all these things leaves us empty and unfulfiled. We work sohard at climbing the ladder of success just to get to the top ,to find it is not all it is made out to be. But with Jesus there are no cold spots of disapointment. He fulfils us to the overflow. As te Psalmist say the “Lord is my Shepard I shall not be in want” Ps 23.

Confession: Ps 23:1

Father today I surrender to the fact that You are my Shield and Exceeding Reward. All my needs and wants shall be provided for through your riches in Christ Jesus. I am bless because Im in you and you are in me.

Wisdom keys:

Ps 5:12, Ps 32:10, Deu 33:29

Prayer:

Father thank you for being my God and Father, who has given me the greatest blessing ever Jesus Christ my Lord and Savoure. Lord you are my exceeding great reward, you are shield and covering when I don’t see anything happening in the natural I will trust you and move in faith till you bring forth my reward. Help me celebrate you daily my most priced posesion. Amen.

Our Daily Devotional Tuesday

You’re not cheap!

1Pe 1:18,19
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your father, But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Believer you are not cheap or invaluable. Your life has been priced high by the one who bought you from, your past life. He placed a value on you that no man or devil can bring down. So many times we feel like we are in the sand and mud and dirt of this world, yet our value doesn’t change. So get up from where you are dust yourself off and shake off the dust precious child of God. You are more valuable than silver and gold.

Confession: Psa_49:7-8; 1Co_6:20, 1Co_7:23
1Pe_1:7
Despite my situation and circumstances, I’m more valuable than people think. My life has been priced by God, through the Blood of Jesus Christ. I’m not cheap but valuable!

Wisdom Meditation Keys: Psa_62:10, Psa_91:14

Prayer:
Father, I thank You for placing a high price on my life. Thank you for buying me not with gold, silver, or diamonds, but with the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. I now shake off this cheap garment and put on my multi-colored garment of your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name amen.

THE GOD OF PEACE
Php 4:9 The things which came to you by my teaching and preaching, and which you saw in me, these things do, and the God of peace will be with you.

One way for you to experience the peace of God is to walk in obedience to His teaching. There is nothing that brings lasting peace than living out the word of God. We are called to be doers of the word and not just hearers. It is when we follow the example and teaching of our leaders in Christ that we can and should experience the peaceful presence of the Lord. It is when we walk the talk and apply the word that God by His Spirit is with us to perform His word in our lives.

Confession: 2Co 13:11
I am at peace; I’m comforted and walking and living the word of God that was taught me by those over me. I receive the implanted word of God that can save my soul.

Wisdom meditation keys: 2Co 1:4, Isa 52:9

Prayer:
Thank You Father for putting me under leadership that teaches me Your word and precepts to obey. Grant me the will and strength to not just obey but to implement these teachings into my daily life. Holy Spirit You are the Anointing who teaches, I ask You to clarify what I don’t understand in Jesus' Name. flood me with Your peace as I study, read, and implement Your word in my life. Amen

Made right

Rom 5:1
We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Have someone ever asked you what is wrong with you? Or maybe you have asked that of yourself? That question is rooted in the wrong things concerning your life. But God! He is not looking at you based on the wrong of your life, but the right! You see you and I have been made right with God through our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been made right with God, so we can stand before Him without guilt shame, or condemnation, this is called righteousness. We stand before God not having our righteousness but having been made righteous. Now because of this righteousness, we are right and no longer wrong. So next time someone asks you what's wrong with you, look them in the eyes and say nothing because I have been made right!

Confession: Rom_6:23; Joh_20:31; Eph_2:7
I stand today because I have been made right. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Now I have peace with God. God is not angry with me, but pleased with me in Jesus’ name.

Wisdom Meditation Keys: Gal_2:16, Jas_2:23-26

Prayer:
Father, I thank You that I have been made right by faith and have peace with You. Help me grow in this reality of being made right and carrying your righteousness in me. Thank You Father for not being angry with me but you are pleased with me in Christ Jesus. Amen!

Our Daily Devotional Friday

RETURN TO THE LORD!

1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Hosea 6:1-2 (KJV)

Every now and then we stray from our given paths and find ourselves lost. But being lost doesn’t mean we are forgotten or deserted, the Father is ever watching out for our return. Just like the prodigal let us return to the Father who will restore us again and throw a banquet in our honour. Remember He is not angry with you but waiting for your return with love in His eyes and forgiveness in his heart just you.

Confession: Isa 55:7, Hos 14:1
I will rise up and return unto my Father. Will give myself anew to Him and serve Him with all my heart and soul and strength.

Wisdom meditation key: Pr 30, Ps 30

Prayer:
Father after trying my own thing and going my own way, I realize that I have missed it. I now return to you my God and Father and ask you to forgive me for being stubborn and rebellious by trying to do things my way. I submit myself to you and vow to follow your every direction. In Jesus Name amen!

HIS MERCY!

18 When I said, “My feet are slipping,” your mercy, O LORD, continued to hold me up. Psalms 94:18 (GW)

Everyone knows how bad we feel after we have slipped and fallen. There are so many pot holes set by the enemy on our way that sometimes we slip and fall into. But the mercies of our Lord are ready to hold us up when we slip. His mercy endures forever and we can count on them to be there every step of the way.

Confession: Ps 37:23, 1Pe 1:5
The Lord orders my foot steps and He will keep me from slipping and stumbling. My feet are set on the rock I shall not be moved.

Wisdom meditation key: Pr 27, Ps 27

Prayer
Father let your mercy ground my feet so that I don’t slip along the way. Keep my from falling Lord and let thy word be my Anker as I seal through the rough waters of the sea of live.

HE PRAYED FOR US!

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
John 17:15 (KJV)

Jabez once prayed keep me from evil and the Lord answered his request. It is the Fathers will for us to be free from evil. In the Lord’s Prayer He is asking the Father to keep us from evil and its ill effects on our lives. Without Him we cannot fight nor overcome evil as it is surrounding us on a daily base. Being in the world mean we are surrounded by evil but it is the Lord who will keep us from evil. The Father keeps us from evil of the devil, evil by others and evil of self.

Confession: Gen 48:16, 1 Ch. 4:10
I’ am in the world and not of the world. I will walk in the light of God and not be under the influence of evil of the dark world.

Wisdom meditation key: Pr 26, Ps 26

Prayer
Father keep me from evil. Help me detect evil influences around me. Keep me from the evil of the Devil, the evil of others and most all the evil committed by myself. By Your righteous right hand lead me away from it all in Jesus Name.

THE RIVERS WILL FLOW!

If any man thirsts, let him come unto Me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:37-38 (KJV)

Times of refreshing are so needed in our lives, as we journey through life. The Holy Spirit is the water of life that flows from the Father’s throne to His people to quench our thirst and revive us as He flows in us and through us. This river is both for us and for those we meet along the way to refresh them as they drink from our fountain.

Confession: Isa 55:1, Ps 23
I will come to the waters of the Lord daily to be refreshed. Holy Spirit let your river flow in and through me. He will make me lie down by still waters and in peace He will guide me!

Wisdom Key: Pr 24, Ps 24

Prayer:
Oh I thirst for you to fill me to the overflow. Let the living waters of Your Spirit erupt within me and spring forth like a mighty river bringing live and refreshing to all around me.
