Living Stones Assembly

Living Stones Assembly Living Stones Assembly (LSA) is a Christian church that believes in salvation by grace and the Pentecostal order of worship.

Rev F Mathe left the Methodist Church of Southern Africa in January 2015 to further pursue his long persisting calling for ministry. On Wednesday (Ash Wednesday, making the 40 day journey of Christ to the Cross) the 18th of February 2015 he started a home cell prayer group in his residence in Sunnyside where he invited few friends and collegues in the evening for a bible study and prayer session.

The gathering commenced with 5 people and was filled with an intense power of the Holy Spirit and the word of God was shared with power and conviction, based on 1Peter 2:4-5. Rev Mathe went on creating networks with various ministers from different ministries and denominations and ministered in word. On the 11th April 2015 he joined the Mukhanyo Theological College where he enrolled for a Diploma in Theology. Following intensive prayer, consulting God and a series of discussions with various pastors Rev Mathe met with Rev Mashinini the founder and leader of Kairos Bible Church and former Minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa and explored a possibility of a relationship of spiritual and ministerial mentor-ship. Eventually Rev Mathe submitted under Kairos Bible Church to serve and be mentored as a minister under the ministry and spiritual oversight of Snr Rev M Mashinini at the end of May 2015. Rev Mathe was officially commissioned for ministry on the 6th September 2015 at Kairos Bible Church-Pretoria Assembly at the end of 2015 when it had grown to approximately 20 congregants. Kairos Bible Church-PTA Assembly was then officially launched on the 5th March 2016.
