And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (I Corinthians 13:13)
Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Don't let the next person's behavior define you. In life, don't do good because you expect the next person to also do good to you.
The greatest investment you can make is to build relationships. Imagine yourself in Jesus' position, pierced, bruised, and in pain, and you still choose to forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. People define love differently, and the greatest example of love is Jesus Christ. How to love someone else: first, put yourself in their shoes; secondly, ask yourself what Jesus would do. Unforgiveness stops your blessings from coming. The person you don't want anything to do with might be your destiny helper. As a person, it's okay to have boundaries, but express love. Put your anger aside and let it go.
Peace is everlasting; when you have peace, everything will flow, and that peace comes with forgiveness and love. If you don't forgive, you're building a ceiling right on top of you. You can't say you love God, whom you do not see, but you don't love your brother or sister whom you see every day. If you have the Spirit of God inside, you'll love and embrace everyone; everything will go smoothly. When you have love inside, you'll glow differently, unlike someone who does not have love inside themselves. Sometimes, just express love even towards people who don't love you.
