Throughout scripture we see that sin separates people from God’s presence. Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden after they sinned, and Cain was also separated because of his actions.

For this reason, ministers must take holiness seriously. It is dangerous to continue ministering while living in unrepentant sin. There are moments when one must step back, seek God, and focus on restoration before continuing in ministry.

Before ministering to others, allow God to work in you. Holiness must always come before ministry.

Today, the Prophet of God, L.A The Revivalist, teaches on how the fall of man affected not only humanity but all of creation.

Many believers think Adam and Eve only started having children after they sinned. However, before the fall, God had already blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28).

When sin entered the world, it did not create childbirth or creation itself. Instead, it changed what God had originally made.

God told Adam that the ground would produce thorns and thistles (Genesis 3:18), showing that creation was affected by the fall. God also told Eve that her pain in childbirth would increase (Genesis 3:16). He did not create childbirth at that moment, He increased the pain associated with it.

The fall did not bring life into existence; it brought suffering and corruption into a creation that God had made good. Sin affected more than humanity, it affected all creation.
