At tonight's prayer meeting, these Scriptures gave us the Good News!

Nahum 1:15 Look! A messenger is coming over the mountains with good news!
He is bringing a message of peace.
Celebrate your festivals, O people of Judah,
and fulfill all your vows,
for your wicked enemies will never invade your land again.
They will be completely destroyed!

Ps 34:5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

Eph 2:6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Our circumstances does not dictate our position in Christ. A shaking world might effect us physically, but there where it matters, in our walk with Christ, our feet are planted in heavenly places, with Christ!

Sunday at AFM Houtkruis broke chains and healed hearts as the Holy Spirit revealed our true Father.

True fathering from God addresses every layer of your being. Through the Holy Spirit, He heals wounds, establishes identity, anchors purpose, and builds character that radiates into every relationship.

This is because the Holy Spirit actively repairs emotional gaps left by wounded fathers. His love turns orphans into heirs, now, through the Spirit of adoption, you call out "Abba (Pappa) Father" because you’re being fathered by the King.

Ever felt like "obedience" to God is just a long list of "don’ts" and "cant’s"?

In a world shouting "I do as I please!", the idea of submitting to God seem outdated and even restrictive. Many drift away, feeling that following God is more about obligation than a vibrant relationship.

But what if we've misunderstood one of the most profound invitations from Jesus?

Jesus turned this idea on its head when He said, "If you love Me, obey Me."

Notice the order? Love first! This isn't about grudgingly following rules; it's the natural overflow of a heart captivated by His goodness. True obedience whispers, "God, I trust Your heart and Your plan more than my own fleeting desires."

Think about it: Adam's "my way" cost him paradise; Saul's disobedience cost him a kingdom. These aren't just ancient stories; they're mirrors reflecting the truth that God's ways, empowered by His Spirit, lead to life, not loss.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to want what God wants, transforming obligation into joyful alignment with our Saviour and Lord.

Today offers a fresh chance to step out of the "my way" wilderness and into the counterculture of God's Kingdom.

Saying "YES" to His leading isn't about losing freedom; it's about finding true life, purpose, and an intimate walk with Jesus, our Saviour, Sanctifier and fearless leader.

It's choosing relationship over rules, intimacy over mere duty.

This is where real transformation begins – where His power perfects our willingness and we truly begin to experience life in abundance.
