These are testimonies that glorify God's name from Sis. Precious
Morning church 🌸
I would like to share my testimony.
I graduated in June last year and have been struggling to find employment. I then relocated to Cape Town to look for work, but still had no luck, facing rejection even for entry-level positions
Last month, Pastor spoke to me and prophesied that he sees two jobs coming and that I would have to choose which one I want . At that moment, it didn’t make sense to me because I had not done any interviews and the company I had applied to was quiet.
After Pastor prayed, I received a call telling me that my application for the law consultant position was unsuccessful. But they said they had sent my CV to the litigation manager, who wanted to meet me.
I went to the interview, and the manager told me he liked me and sees a place for me in the firm. But because of my lack of experience, he said he would refer my profile back to the consultant position.
After that… silence again for about two weeks.
Then last week Friday, Pastor called me and prayed for favour. He mentioned that he sees something blocking my employment process.
That same weekend, on Sunday evening around 8pm, I received a call from the recruiter apologising. She said she had forgotten to book my interview, and that they actually liked me and wanted to offer me the consultant position.
I was honestly shocked.
She then arranged a meeting with the product manager.
On Monday, I attended the meeting, and when they asked me which position I prefer, I said consulting based on what the recruiter had told me. Immediately, things moved forward and I was booked for a background check.
Then came the moment that truly reminded me of God’s hand in all of this
The recruiter came back and offered me both positions: consultant and litigator.
She said I should choose which position do I want
In that moment, I remembered Pastor’s words: “I see two jobs coming.”
Today, I have signed my employment contract.
When I look at the role, I realise that while I have the degree, I don’t yet have the level of experience usually required. Most people work for about two years before being offered a position like this, but God made a way for me to step into it.
Grace and favour 🙏✨
