Purpose: without a clear understanding of our privileges and responsibilities as a disciple of Jesus, how can we make a success of it?
Imagine starting a new job; your boss gives your instructions: “You must be friendly, help people, attend department meetings, read the company policy document often, don’t be late, don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t drink or be immoral at work”. He did not tell you your privileges or responsibilities yet!
In a Christian's life, it’s many times not much different, we are told a lot of what we are not supposed to do, but that does not define our privileges and responsibilities. Additionally, to attend meetings (church, cell) are in many instances presented as our purpose; but it's not. The purpose of this course is to define our basic privileges and responsibilities as disciples of Jesus
