🔥 AN EXPECTATION OF THE GREAT PROMISE 🔥

God has not called us to live ordinary lives. His expectation is that we live according to His divine laws—not out of obligation, but because we are partakers of something greater: His very nature.

Yes, you read that right. The BIG promise is this:
👉 We are called to partake in the divine nature of God!

This is not just a future hope—this is a present reality. But how does God take us from being sinners… to being sharers in His nature?

Let’s break it down:

1️⃣ The Elevation of the Body (Flesh)
📖 Ephesians 3:14-15, Hebrews 4:15
Jesus, who took on flesh like us, has shown us that the body is not evil—it can be elevated for the purposes of God. Through Christ, our humanity is redeemed and made holy.

2️⃣ Knowledge and Eternal Life
📖 Genesis 3:5
While the enemy twisted knowledge in the garden, God’s plan was never to withhold it. In Christ, we receive the true knowledge of God—one that leads to eternal life, not separation.

When we grow in virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love (2 Peter 1:5-7), we are not just becoming better people—we are becoming more like God.

➡️ Let this truth sink in:
You are not just saved to escape hell… You are saved to reflect heaven.

🔥 Walk in your divine nature.
🔥 Live out the character of Christ.
🔥 Let your life show the glory of God.

Expect God to Do the Impossible 🙏✨

This Sunday, we were reminded to have great faith and expect God to make the impossible possible in our lives. 🌟 Through faith and action, we unlock the divine power of God to work miracles, bring healing, and deliver breakthroughs.

📖 Scripture Focus:

Matthew 8:5-11,13 – The Centurion’s faith moved Jesus to heal his servant.
John 2:1-5 – Mary’s confidence in Jesus turned water into wine.
1 Samuel 17:34-37 – David’s faith in God helped him overcome lions and giants.
Key Points:
1️⃣ Confidence in God Opens Doors:
When we have unwavering faith in God, we can expect Him to move powerfully in our lives. Mary and the Centurion showed confidence in Jesus and witnessed His power.

2️⃣ Expectation Invites Divine Power:
David trusted God completely, and God delivered him time and time again. The same God who worked miracles for David is ready to do it for you today.

3️⃣ Faith + Action = Transformation:
Don’t let doubt or self-pity hold you back. Step out in faith, trust God, and watch as He transforms your life.

💡 Takeaway:
Great faith leads to great miracles! Believe, take action, and expect God to do the impossible in your life. 🙌

The Conviction to See the Goodness of God 🙏✨

This Sunday, we reflected on the importance of having a strong conviction to witness God’s goodness in our lives. 🌟 Understanding God’s character deepens our relationship with Him and strengthens our faith in His promises.

📖 Scripture Focus:

Exodus 34:1-6 — God reveals His character to Moses as merciful, gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love and faithfulness.
Mark 5:25-29 — The woman with the issue of blood believed in Jesus’ power and received her miracle because of her conviction.
Key Points:
1️⃣ Yahweh – The Great I AM:
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His divine nature assures us of His unchanging love and power.

2️⃣ Merciful God:
He forgives those who approach Him with humility and repentance. His compassion leads Him to rescue us in our deepest struggles.

3️⃣ Gracious Provider:
God gives beyond what we deserve. By His grace, we are saved and continually blessed. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

4️⃣ Slow to Anger:
God patiently waits for us to repent, offering countless chances to return to Him.

5️⃣ Abounding in Love:
His unfailing love was shown when He left His throne to dwell among us. His love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1)

6️⃣ Abounding in Faithfulness:
God is steadfast and true to His promises. What He has spoken, He will fulfill.

7️⃣ God of Miracles:
Miracles flow when we believe without doubt. Just as the woman in Mark 5 was healed by her conviction, our faith unlocks divine miracles.

Additional Thoughts:
As we enter this Year of Divine Expectation, let us cast away doubt and stand firm in the belief that God’s goodness will manifest in our lives. Our expectations must be rooted in His true character—merciful, gracious, loving, faithful, and miraculous.

💡 Takeaway:
Strengthen your conviction and expect God to move powerfully. Believe in His character, and His wonders will surely come to pass in your life.

Divine Expectations Bring Results 🙏✨

On this special 5th Sunday, we reflected on the power of divine expectations and how faith unlocks the blessings of God in our lives. 🌟 When we persist and activate our faith, we align ourselves with God’s plans, even in challenging situations.

📖 Scripture Focus:
Matthew 15:21-28 — The Canaanite woman’s unwavering faith teaches us the value of persistence and expectation, even when faced with rejection or obstacles.

Key Points:
1️⃣ If You Want Something, You Must Persist:
Faith is not passive. It requires action and persistence. Don’t give up on your prayers or dreams, no matter how impossible they seem.

2️⃣ Firm Determination Pays Off:
Determined hearts unlock God’s blessings. Stay focused on His promises and push through distractions and discouragement.

3️⃣ Activate Your Expectation Through Faith:
Expectations fueled by faith open doors to miracles. Believe in God’s power to work in your life, and trust His timing.

4️⃣ Do Not Let Challenges Steal Your Expectations:
Whether it’s negativity from others, personal doubts, or tough circumstances, hold onto your expectations. Remember, once Satan steals your hope, he robs you of the opportunity to see God’s greatness.

Additional Thoughts:
Even when circumstances seem unfavorable, hold onto your faith and activate your expectations. God is faithful and will move in your life when you trust Him completely.

💡 Takeaway:
Let us activate our expectations and persist in faith, no matter the challenges. God's greatness will shine in your life as you trust Him and remain steadfast in hope.
