Isaiah 59:19, The Amplified Bible
"So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].”

The enemy can not be a flood, he is containable. Like a flood Jesus is uncontainable. The enemy was contained in heaven from the beginning. He was contained in the mountain when Jesus was in fasting and prayer. He was contained in the tomb when our Lordwas buried. He was contained in hell, disarmed of the keys of death and stripped off the powers and authority stolen from Adam.

Right now he relies on lies and deception as the father of lies. Resist him with the mighty power God has given. He will try to intimidate you but be strong in the Lord and might. Stand firm in the Word and do not move.

What the enemy meant for evil, God turns it around for your good. As January comes to an end, let it end with good news to you. New blessed shaping of your life. God has planned it for you in advance. Have faith in God.

God loves you and I also love ❤ you.

Many plans are in a man's heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand.

1. Seek His counsel
Have you seen that any decision that you took after praying and seeking God's guidance came out smooth without any come backs. The counsel of the Lord stands forever. Who can nullify what God has ordained and who can withdraw thee hand of God when it has been stretched.

Psalms 33:11
The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

2. Seek His guidance this season from Him
Psalms 73:24 NKJV
You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

Psalms 73:24 TPT
You lead me with your secret wisdom. And following you brings me into your brightness and glory!

The counsel of the Lord carries the benefits of heaven, it comes with the secret Wisdom of God. This means that when you seek His counsel, He will give you His Wisdom in all what you do. We have landed in big financial debts, because we did not Seek His counsel. We met wrong spouses because we sought our desires. Seek Him with all your heart and He will come for you.

Remember, the Lord is concerned even with the smallest thing in your life. He wants to help you. Choose this day who is your helper.

Loving the Lord

John 14:15 KJV
"If ye love me, keep my commandments".

Is it not interedting to know where we stand and who we are with our God. The word of God separates the lovers of Christ from followers of Christ. It is put in simple tems, "If you love me, keep my commands". There is no short cut.

John 14:23‭-‬24 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Loving Christ and keeping His word comes with benefits, the Father and Jesus will love him/her and they will also stay in Him/her. What a wonderful knowledge that our heavenly Father and Christ Jesus live in us.

Let's open the door to be loved by our Father and to abode in us by doing His word.

Our God is the answer. Look up to Him for mercy.

Often we are disappointed because somebody promised something to us and broke the promised. We have been promised jobs, marriages, business opportunities but at the end a promise, broken. Remember reliance on people is to our detriment, but when we depend on God we are assured of His right answer at the right time. He even know what we want.

Hosea 7:8‭-‬9 GNT
The Lord says, “The people of Israel are like a half-baked loaf of bread. They rely on the nations around them and do not realize that this reliance on foreigners has robbed them of their strength. Their days are numbered, but they don't even know it.

May God help us not to rely on man but Him only.

The Bible says "Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, Isaiah 40:31.

God is not a man, that He should lie, a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?

Let's trust God for our situation to change.

Ezekiel 37:12‭-‬13
Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God : “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
Then you shall know that I am the Lord , when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves and bring into the land of promise.

It is true that the enemy can bury you and your destiny in the grave. You try to move but nothing moves. Instead of praying for success, command the graves to open its mouth and release all that it has consumed in your life in Jesus Name.

Prophesy to your life, body, finances, jobs, marriages, businesses to come out of the grave. Command your life to reach its promised land in Jesus Name.

Devotion
Thank You Lord for the revelation and appearance of Christ Jesus in my life through the gospel. His revelation brought me new hope for the future and I know that your plans are to prosper me, Jeremiah 29:11.

Without the gospel of Jesus Christ, new hope would not exist. To acquire and access this hope, accept Jesus Christ.

Make a wise decision.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

How much we need to rely on God's love in this time more than any other times. He never changes or forget who He is. God is love, He can't deny Himself. Without His love we will not even wake up in the morning. It doesn't matter what you situation is? Depend on His love and don't stop calling for His love. If you call He hear you and answer you.

DON'T GIVE UP. YOUR ANSWER IS ON THE WAY. IT MAY BE DELAYED BUT NOT DENIED.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

Help is on the way
Jeremiah 32: 27. "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Whatever you are facing, is it hard for our God?

Jeremiah 32: 41. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.

Know that God rejoices in doing good to you and wants to establish you in your heart's desire.

Jeremiah 33: 10. "This is what the Lord says: 'You say about this place, "It is a desolate waste, without people or animals." Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither people nor animals, there will be heard once more

Your situation that looks hopeless, God is seeing hope and a solution to Your challenges. He is seeing your future that is bright and fruitful.

Don't lose hope, help is on the way.

Unfair Favour of God
1. John 7: 15. And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

- When favour locates you, it will propells you to a level which you never dreamt of. Your enemies will be shocked and your friends shall be amazed.

2. John 7: 52. They answered and said to him, Art thou also from Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

- Even if in your family no one has ever achieved, when this kind of favour locate you, you become the first one to achieve in your entire village .

- Where you came from it doesn't matter, favour locates you even in the most desolate places.

- May this kind of favour locates you today in Jesus Name.
