Don’t confuse honour with idolising. Bible teaches us to honour/ respect spiritual parents or pastors, but if you’re consecutively prompted to say something about pastors more than Jesus then is time to check if you’re not acting from a brainwashed state of mind.

The Holy Ghost doesn’t guide us to talk about/ exalt men all the time, his job is to reveal Jesus Christ.

Jesus never really praised the anointing on John the baptiser, yes he mentioned that no prophet was like John, but he didn’t make it a center of his message and never again did he remind people of it in the future.

Recently, I was told that mantles are prepared and planned in heaven for the recipient before one can even know their destiny. If a mantle is going to be passed to the next generation it is not bound to come through physical contact. Mantle is a spiritual commodity and can be spiritually passed.

In Old Testament Elisha came in contact physically with Elijah, but in New Testament Paul came in contact with Jesus spiritually on his way to Damascus.

Peter and his crew travelled, stayed and had dinner with Jesus Christ but they were never really anointed till he died and appeared to them resurrected and breathed on them and said receive the Holy Ghost. We see them baptised again in Acts 2 through the Holy Spirit. Had all these things happened to them before crucifixion they’d have thought it is because of eating together at the table/ physical contacts yet they were chosen whilst still lost, they didn’t even pray for him to choose them.

When you hear people say there’s no Timothy without Paul, remind them there’s no Paul without Jesus Christ.

You later hear Paul say this I was not taught by any man but Christ himself. Did you hear what John say? This anointing you’ll receive it doesn’t need any man to teach you anything but it will teach you all things

The bible is clear and plain, the main problem is lack of understanding. Our generation is brainwashed. Lack of study of the word causes much harm.

God forbid that we should give honour to where it is not due. Only Jesus deserves all the Glory! And humans must never be worshipped in confusion of honour.

Teaching topic: God’s word

We were made by the word and so we should build ourselves up on the word. If we neglect God’s word we can’t live a dominant life

Worry is a result of the absence of God’s word. If we don’t know what God says how can we be able to interpret our challenges?

Many people are looking for prophecies everywhere not knowing the Bible they’re holding is a prophetic book. There’s no prophecy that can replace what is already written.

God is patient, his ways are not our ways. Look at what happened to Joseph, hate and jealousy was used to help him reach his destination. Look at Jesus, Judas Iscariot betraying him was actually part of the process.

Let’s read God’s word, we will discover our destinies.

The devil used scripture to tempt Jesus Christ, but Jesus responded back with scriptures. And thats how he won. We can’t defeat the devil without the word. Temptations are coming to check if your life is occupied with the word or the world.

No human being is a destiny helper, the real destiny helper is the HOLY SPIRIT. people come and go but God remains. Associations with men may be seasonal but God’s presence is eternal. David says though my mother and father may desert me but you’ll never leave me.

Thank God for people he’s brining into your life, but never allow them to take the place of the Holy Spirit. Never rate them high that you feel if they withdraw it will be over. Humans are just humans. God doesn’t plan entirely on humans. When Saul disobeys God already David was being prepared to take his place.

Those who think they are your destiny helpers and that they can hold your mind captive they don’t really know what’s coming next.

Your destiny can only collapse if the Holy Spirt leaves you, not humans.

Second service

The Holy Spirit was promised to thousands but only 120 received him in the upper room. Thousands of them became impatient and left.

This is a season for the next level, those who left were not supposed to be part of it. The promises of God are obtained though patience. Many are seeking quick results. That’s not a God’s way. God works by seasons. He first prunes a man in the hiding before he announces him to the public.

“While he was still with them, he said: Don't leave Jerusalem yet. Wait here for the Father to give you the Holy Spirit, just as I told you he has promised to do. John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

We love because God first loved us. Our love for God is a debt we owe to him. Jesus died for us when we were yet sinful, he was not forced to. He acted out of love. Nothing is painful as seeing those who used to be on fire for God turning extremely cold. Not when all signs of the end are evidently displayed everywhere.
Yes, Bible said all will be like in the days of Noah, people will be so focused on pleasure and ignore the warnings. Jesus is almost back. He can barge anytime like a thief in the night.

Teaching topic: Patience

God is never in a hurry, there are no deadlines of which he must hurry to cover. It’s only us who get hurried. We don’t want to wait.

God hears the cry of the Israelites and begins a process, he cause a child to be born who is going to live and deliver them from slavery when he is 80 years old. We also see when He sends Christ to be born and be here of earth growing and start with ministry when he’s 30 years old.

We’re the ones today who think if God hears our cry today, there must be results today. Why can’t we learn to be patient?

In God there’s always a process, success comes to those who wait. Look at Saul who could not wait long enough for Samuel, impatience destroyed his destiny.

David knew he was anointed to be King but still he waited for God himself to announce him. He could have killed Saul when he got the chance to and speed up the process, but he still respected Saul even when he was evil and running after him.

If we can wait on God our strengths will be renewed. Those who wait patiently will never be disappointed. When we are waiting we should be building ourselves. Sometimes what you call delay is not really delay, it’s a test that wants to reveal your heart.

Look at the Israelites who failed to wait for Moses when he was on the mountain. They ended up making an idol to worship. Impatience will cause you to stray from the will of God.

Many Pastors started ministry in the right way, when it takes them long to grow the ministry they became impatient and started to go around looking for help from other pastors and ended up meeting wolves.

Why do we fail to understand that big things take time? David said don’t let it bother you when all goes well for those who do sinful things.

Let’s learn to wait. 5 foolish virgins failed to wait, and they messed up the chance to be with the bridegroom.

“But no, you disobeyed, and so the Lord won't choose anyone else from your family to be king. In fact, he has already chosen the one he wants to be the next leader of his people.””
