Teaching topic: Obedience

Jesus said not everyone will see the kingdom just because they called him Lord but those who obey the Father will

Some are going to say we casted demons in your name but he’ll still tell them to go away from him. This tells us that miracles, prophesies and the casting of demons don’t really prove we come from God, but our lifestyle of obedience

Jesus said a tree is known by its fruits. Those who are using Christ for their own benefit don’t really care to obey what is written, and even if they try they’ll still fail. For no one can really please God when they don’t have his Spirit

Let’s check at ourselves, are we finding it difficult to obey God’s word? Is your faith in Christ genuine? Don’t be blindfolded by the manifestation of power, power does manifest without relationship.

Look at the sons of sceva, the fact that they were able to arrest demons tells us that power was available yet they didn’t have any relationship with Christ, they just mentioned the name. unfortunately they were limited that they could not force out those demons

You may have some abilities in spirit, but if relationship with God through obedience is lacking you’ll have limitations. The word of God is Christ himself. Reading the Bible and obeying it completes it in your heart. Don’t just read without desire to understand. For when you understand thats then the desire to obey will be birthed.

How can you want to practice what you don’t understand? Let’s get back to building ourselves on obedience. To please God and be acceptable to him we should let him be the ruler and master of our lives. Servants obey orders. And God’s orders are not really that difficult when we see that they were not written to bind us but to free us.

The Bible is there to bring light, we have walked in darkness before, and when we came to light we came as babies and a process of growth began. There are still many errors we made in Christianity but God has given us the capacity to learn from our errors. No one was born an adult, we all started somewhere as weaklings

See the Love of God that he never gave up on you! Now is time to learn and grow. Quit repeating the same errors. Wrongs must be fixed and you move on. Start obeying God’s word.

“Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“Anyone who hears my teachings and doesn't obey them is like a foolish person who built a house on sand.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭26‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“Obey God's message! Don't fool yourselves by just listening to it. If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror and forget what they look like as soon as they leave.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭CEV‬‬

Practicing the presence of the Lord

Faith is our beginning of the walk with the Lord. You can’t follow someone you don’t trust, and you can’t trust someone you don’t know.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. We should practice walking with the Lord.

There are many things God wants to reveal to us but these things don’t come cheaply. God wants us to value his presence that’s why his things require us to sacrifice our time and give it all to him

God withdrew himself from his servant Hezekiah to test what was in his heart. Sometimes God allows things to happen to see our motives. Job was tested and so is you and me. We are going to be tested

Bible teaches us that God hide himself so that he can reveal himself as gold. God hiding from us is so that we seek him more, the intention is to reveal himself on a higher level

If we know God’s word we will rejoice when we have trials knowing that these trials will bring us closer to him

“Even when the leaders of Babylonia sent messengers to ask Hezekiah about the sign God had given him, God let Hezekiah give his own answer to test him and to see if he would remain faithful.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭32‬:‭31‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“But without faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and rewards everyone who searches for him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“But he knows what I am doing, and when he tests me, I will be pure as gold. *”
‭‭Job‬ ‭23‬:‭10‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“Your faith will be like gold that has been tested in a fire. And these trials will prove that your faith is worth much more than gold that can be destroyed. They will show that you will be given praise and honor and glory when Jesus Christ returns.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭CEV‬‬

Reforming Sunday Service [14 June 2026]

Let’s pray for consecration. Sometimes it is our thoughts that makes us impure, sometimes our actions dirties us. If we can ask God for purity he’ll help us. We are called to walk a life of Holiness. God forgives!

Reforming Friday Prayer Meeting [12 June 2026]

Pharaoh let the Israelites go but a moment later changes his mind and pursue them again

Jesus teaches us that evil spirits when went out of people they later return to see if there’s a possibility of possessing them again

Blessed is the one who spend time with God, for the one who delivered you is the one to protect you.

Always pray!

Reforming Sunday Service [07 June 2026]

Spiritual growth is more vital in a Christian’s life, the one who doesn’t develop and grow is the one who is under an attack. And none can grow without feasting upon the Word of God.

Reforming Fire Revival [04 June 2026]

Day 2

There’s a vast difference between don’t bite the hand that once fed you and don’t expose the hand that once poisoned you

Not everything you receive is a blessing, some are curses.

Not every hand laid on you is blessing you, some are caging you into the dark.

Lot and his family were commanded not to look back, the wife disobeyed (looked back) and got punished (turned into a pillar of salt).

Whom the Son set free is free indeed.

The size of wealth and achievements means nothing, it is how you have acquired it that matters

A rich but lost man is not better than a poor Christian

A Christian having little that he acquired in a right way is way better than a rich man who left others bleeding for him to succeed

A big church yet ruled by sin and greed is not better than a small church that belongs to God and lives in purity

Stop looking at sizes, start looking at motives behind.

Don’t confuse honour with idolising. Bible teaches us to honour/ respect spiritual parents or pastors, but if you’re consecutively prompted to say something about pastors more than Jesus then is time to check if you’re not acting from a brainwashed state of mind.

The Holy Ghost doesn’t guide us to talk about/ exalt men all the time, his job is to reveal Jesus Christ.

Jesus never really praised the anointing on John the baptiser, yes he mentioned that no prophet was like John, but he didn’t make it a center of his message and never again did he remind people of it in the future.

Recently, I was told that mantles are prepared and planned in heaven for the recipient before one can even know their destiny. If a mantle is going to be passed to the next generation it is not bound to come through physical contact. Mantle is a spiritual commodity and can be spiritually passed.

In Old Testament Elisha came in contact physically with Elijah, but in New Testament Paul came in contact with Jesus spiritually on his way to Damascus.

Peter and his crew travelled, stayed and had dinner with Jesus Christ but they were never really anointed till he died and appeared to them resurrected and breathed on them and said receive the Holy Ghost. We see them baptised again in Acts 2 through the Holy Spirit. Had all these things happened to them before crucifixion they’d have thought it is because of eating together at the table/ physical contacts yet they were chosen whilst still lost, they didn’t even pray for him to choose them.

When you hear people say there’s no Timothy without Paul, remind them there’s no Paul without Jesus Christ.

You later hear Paul say this I was not taught by any man but Christ himself. Did you hear what John say? This anointing you’ll receive it doesn’t need any man to teach you anything but it will teach you all things

The bible is clear and plain, the main problem is lack of understanding. Our generation is brainwashed. Lack of study of the word causes much harm.

God forbid that we should give honour to where it is not due. Only Jesus deserves all the Glory! And humans must never be worshipped in confusion of honour.

“But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But Christ has blessed you with the Holy Spirit. Now the Spirit stays in you, and you don't need any teachers. The Spirit is truthful and teaches you everything. So stay one in your heart with Christ, just as the Spirit has taught you to do.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭27‬ ‭CEV‬‬

Teaching topic: God’s word

We were made by the word and so we should build ourselves up on the word. If we neglect God’s word we can’t live a dominant life

Worry is a result of the absence of God’s word. If we don’t know what God says how can we be able to interpret our challenges?

Many people are looking for prophecies everywhere not knowing the Bible they’re holding is a prophetic book. There’s no prophecy that can replace what is already written.

God is patient, his ways are not our ways. Look at what happened to Joseph, hate and jealousy was used to help him reach his destination. Look at Jesus, Judas Iscariot betraying him was actually part of the process.

Let’s read God’s word, we will discover our destinies.

The devil used scripture to tempt Jesus Christ, but Jesus responded back with scriptures. And thats how he won. We can’t defeat the devil without the word. Temptations are coming to check if your life is occupied with the word or the world.

“From the very beginning the Word was with God. And with this Word, God created all things. Nothing was made without the Word.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭CEV‬‬
