We are the Church of Christ that meets at 180 Club Avenue, Ashlea Gardens in the city of Pretoria, South Africa. Like our thousands of sister congregations distributed across the globe, Ashlea Gardens Church of Christ strives to retain the principles applied by the original New Testament Church (Acts 2). In other words, we revert to the simplicity and purity of the first-century Church, using the
Bible for this purpose and adhering to Jesus’ teachings and that of His apostles (Acts 2:42), and not the teachings of man. While we are united into one faith (Ephesians 4:3-6) through the Word of God, each congregation of the Churches of Christ is autonomous and undenominational. Consequently, Ashlea Gardens Church of Christ is not governed by a synod or council and we have no central headquarters or president. Our head is Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23) and our members are Christians only.
