How long do seasons last?
When God reveals or declares new seasons, those seasons are appointed to last long enough until the realities and changes coming in as result of the word of God are accomplished.
These season are not determined by man on how long or short they need to be. Durations depend on God and His purposes.
Types of seasons and their duration:
1.) The Day(s) as a season:
These days ordained by God in order for you to experience defining or life altering moments that help usher in realities of advantage. There are days made by God that can be equivalent to many days in that one day experience.
Revelation 1:11-10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.””
2.) The Month as a season:
Ezekiel 1:1 “NOW [when I was] in [my] thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was in the midst of captivity beside the river Chebar [in Babylonia], the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.”
3.) Seasons of the year (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring)
As physical seasons change so can the season of life change as well.
John 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
4.) The Year as a Season:
Psalm 65:11 “You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.”
5.) Many years as One Season:
Psalm 105:19 “Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.”
Joseph is primary example of how he received revelation dream of his destiny and went in to a season that lasted many years until the fruition or manifestation of that word
