On Saturday 13 June, the Rt Revd Dr Vicentia Kgabe presided over her first ordination service as Bishop of Pretoria. As she led this sacred celebration and delivered a powerful and inspiring sermon, we were reminded that God continues to call, equip, and send faithful servants into His harvest. We warmly congratulate our newly ordained priests. May they serve with humility, courage, integrity, and joy.

Anglican Men’s Guild Diocesan Executive Committee Elections

The elections for the Anglican Men’s Guild (AMG) Diocesan Executive Committee were held on Saturday, 6 June 2026. The electoral process was presided over by the Very Revd Moses Thabethe and supported by the following, who also served as vote counters and verifiers:
- Diocesan Chancellor, Judge Tati Makgoka
- The Revd Hendrick Matseke
- Mme Fatima Peete, President of the Anglican Women’s Fellowship (AWF)
- Mme Leah Malete, President of the Mothers’ Union (MU)
- Mme Lebogang Nyakale, Former President of MMG

We express our appreciation to all who participated in and supported the election process, which was conducted in a spirit of prayer, fellowship, and shared commitment to the mission and ministry of the Church.

The following members were duly elected to serve on the AMG Diocesan Executive Committee:

Deputy President: Mr Karabo Mabokela (St Francis, Mamelodi)

On Saturday, 30 May, the Diocesan Mothers’ Union conducted its elections. We are delighted to announce the following newly elected officers who will serve the Mothers’ Union in the Diocese. We pray that God grants them wisdom, grace, and strength as they undertake this vital ministry.
