π΄ I want to read several scriptures to you concerning this month of September, and then we will take the Communion.
π΄Isaiah chapter 54 from verse 2:
> βEnlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations. Spare not; lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.β
Verse 3:
> βFor thou shalt break forth on thy right hand and on thy left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.β
βοΈ I want you to notice in that third verse who He's talking to and who He's talking about.
> βFor thou shalt break forth on thy right hand and on thy left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles.β
π΄ So, go to Galatians 3:16.
> βNow to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.β
Verse 29, same book, same chapter:
> βAnd if ye be Christβs...β
π΄ Let's read this from the NIV, just because of the βChrist'sβ there, in case someone is not actually looking at the Scripture:
> βIf you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahamβs seed, and heirs according to the promise.β
π That is amazing!
In the same NIV, can you look at verse 16?
> βThe promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.β
βοΈ The Scripture does not say unto seeds, meaning many people, but to your seed, meaning one person who is Christ.
π΄ Now, go back to what we read in Isaiah chapter 54 and verse 3:
> βFor thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles.β
βοΈSo who is the seed to inherit the Gentiles? Christ.
π΄ And if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham's seed. And so you inherit the Gentiles. Isn't that amazing?
π§ππ πͺπ’π₯π π’π ππ’π ππ‘ππ₯πππ¦ππ¦
π΄ All right. Now I want you to go to Acts chapter 6 and verse number 7:
> βAnd the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.β
βοΈThe Word of God increased.
π΄ Chapter 12, book of Acts, verse 24:
> βBut the word of God grew and multiplied.β
π΄ What happened here in chapter 12? Herod had persecuted the Church until he killed James, the brother of John, and went on to take Peter also, but God delivered Peter when the Church prayed. So there was so much hatred against the Church because the Bible says when Herod killed James, it pleased the Jews. There was so much hatred. But the Word of God grew and multiplied. Hallelujah!
Same book of Acts, go to chapter 19 and verse number 20:
> βSo mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.β
That's wonderful.
π΄ Colossians chapter 1, we're reading from verse 9 into verse 10:
> βFor this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.β
Wonderful!
First Peter chapter 2 and verse number 2:
> βAs newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.β
βοΈWow! So if I'm going to grow, I can desire the sincere milk of the Word and it will lead to growth. That's amazing.
ππ₯π’πͺπ§π ππ‘ πππ π§πππ‘ππ¦
π΄ Then next, Ephesians chapter 4, and we're reading from verse 14 into verse 15:
> βThat we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.β
βοΈβοΈBoy, I like this!
βSpeaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things.β
2 Peter 3:18:
> βBut grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.β
π And everybody said, βAmen!β
π΄ The word translated βgrowβ there, and in the various verses that we read, referring to the ones we read in the Book of Acts and then the Pauline Epistles, the word is in the Greek, βoxano.β Oxano means, of course, grow. That's why it's translated grow, increase, enlarge, expand, become greater.
π π§πππ¦ π π’π‘π§π ππ¦ π§ππ π π’π‘π§π π’π ππ₯π’πͺπ§π
π΄ This month is the month of growth. And you will grow. You will increase. You will enlarge. You will expand and become greater by the power of the Holy Ghost.
βοΈThis is your blessing.
π΄ Let me show you two portions of the Bible to help you in a way that you can really appreciate what's happening by the Holy Spirit right now.
π΄So, the first part is in St. Luke's Gospel, chapter 1, in verse 80. It's talking about John the Baptist. He just, as a child, he says:
> βAnd the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.β
π΄ Another beautiful thing here is, this child was strong in spirit. Some people grow, but they don't wax strong in spirit. But this child grew and was strong in spirit. Hallelujah!

π΄ There's another child with a very similar description. In the same book, St. Luke's Gospel, but this time in chapter 2 and verse number 40. Let's read again about this other child:
> βAnd the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.β
βοΈThere's a difference between this child and the other child.
π΄ That one grew and was strong in spirit and remained in the deserts till his showing unto Israel. That was John the Baptist.
π΄ But this other child, look. It says, βAnd the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.β
π΄ Did you notice? It's not everyone that grows and becomes strong in spirit and gets filled with wisdom. After all, the first child we read of, the Bible doesn't say he was filled with wisdom. He was strong in spirit, all right, but wasn't filled with wisdom.
π΄ But this one was filled with wisdom. And then he says, βAnd the grace of God was upon him.β
The child grew.
π΄ There's more about this child, and I'd like to show it to you. He gives you His name finally. In verse 52, look at what it says:
> βAnd Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.β
π΄ When you read between the two verses, you would observe that when it says the child grew, he hadn't grown to become a man. For he tells you what happened after he grew to a certain level.
π΄ So, as a boy, he was filled with wisdomβthe wisdom that was necessary for a boy of his age. Most children grow to that level with less than the wisdom they require because of the fall of man. But this one was conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of a virgin, and was not a part of that fall. He was filled with wisdomβall the wisdom that was necessary.
βAnd Jesus increased in wisdom.β
βοΈHow could he increase in wisdom if he was already filled with wisdom?
π΄ He was filled to the capacity that he could accommodate. Imagine you have a cup and you fill it with water. It's full. Can't take anymore; it's a cup. And you bring a bucket that's larger than the cup. You can add more water until it's full. When it's full, it can't take any more.
π΄ So he had as much wisdom as was necessary for the time being. And then as he increased in stature, more wisdom. Did you see that?
> βAnd Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.β
π΄ As a kid, the first part says the grace of God was upon him. As a boy, now he needs to deal directly with God. He needs to deal directly with humans. And so the Bible tells us he was in favour with God and man.
π΄ Now, being in favour with God and man doesn't mean that every human being will like you. Make no mistakes about that. Who knows better than Jesus about that one? They hated him not too long afterward. You can read all about that in St. John's Gospel, chapter 15.
He said, βThey hated me without a cause.β
π¬π’π¨π₯ πππππ‘ππ ππ¦ πͺππ§π ππ’π
π΄ I was sharing something with the brethren yesterday. Don't think that if you're wonderful, if you're in a great place, you're going to be like some people tell us, βBe balanced. Live a balanced life. Be balanced.β
π΄ What do they mean by being balanced? They say, if you're a teacher, you be a good teacher, a good father, a good neighbour, a good friend, a good brother, a good everything. And all these people will like you.
π΄ You can be good to your neighbour and your neighbour doesn't like you. Make no mistakes about it.
βοΈHe says, βStrive to be at peace with all men.β It doesn't mean that they will be at peace with you.
π΄ And if others don't like you or are not at peace with you, it doesn't mean something is wrong with you. So don't say, βWell, in my office, I've tried everything. I just want a balanced life.β
π΄ You want a balanced life? Your balance is with God. Don't balance it with men. They will not allow you to balance it. The more you try, the more they despise you for it.
π΄ Those who make up their minds, they're going to try to spoil things for you. But never, never be moved by that.
π΄ The one you need to please is not your neighbour. You can help him if he lets you help him. The one you need to please is Jesus Christ.
π΄ Jesus said they hated him without a cause. There was no reason. They don't listen. And he said, βIf they have hated me, they will hate you also. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also.β
π΄ He said, βIf you were of the world, the world would love his own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hated you.β
Don't mind.
Just do what is right. That's what matters.

βοΈSo this month is a month of growth.
I'm growing in everything. I'm increasing in everything. I'm walking in the blessing of Abraham.
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Growth is my life.
I told you years ago, years ago, the Lord spoke to me and He just said it clearly to me. He said, βSon, keep growing.β
And I called it βLicense to Grow.β
Keep growing.
Everything about me grows. Everything. Everything about me grows. Doesn't matter what it is. It's just everything grows.
He told me, βKeep growing,β and He hasn't told me to stop. So I cannot but grow in everything.
And I extend that grace to you. I extend it to you.
Grow non-stop.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, grow non-stop.
It is your blessing.
Receive it with your spirit. Receive it with your spirit.
