Message Title: The Courageous Mind (Awakening Of The GodMan)
I will be laying a foundation of the theme of the next month, which is the month of September. We are going to be breaking the bread and drinking the blood of Christ; this is very significant in the body of Christ.
Many believers are not aware how significant it is the activity of breaking the bread. It is very important because the Bible says every time we do this; we do it in the remembrance of the LORD. Every time you practicing this act you are proclaiming afresh the death and resurrection of the LORD; and you are not leaving it in the past. That’s what He meant when He says “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
He says do it afresh as if it was done today, because it was not a history what the LORD did. It was not history when He died on the cross; He was not starting a new religion, but breaking the divine wall that was separating man from God due to sin.
Jesus says that “Unless you drink of My Flesh and drink My Blood you will die in your sins.” Repentance is not stopping sin, the stopping of sin is the beginning of it. The important part of it is bearing fruits. We hear the WORD of God so that we can be aligned with it. We don’t hear so that we can clap hands..
We remain unspiritual except if the WORD of God becomes the integral part of our being. The measure of the WORD of God in our lives is equivalent to His LORD-ship in our lives. The WORD of God plays a vital role, we don’t read it to know the scriptures, but so that it can become the standard of our lives; because if not our emotions will rule in our lives. instead, the WORD of God.
Acts 2:22, I always teach you this, that this is the foundation of the church, which is the WORD of God- fellowship, prayer and the breaking of the bread because that’s what makes us joint children of God.

He is saying - “It is not the concept of eating, but the concept of discerning what is in the food. There is a miracle, I was not feeding you with loaves I was feeding you with the seed that is not corruptible.”
Jesus was not giving them bread, why would He say you are looking for Me because I gave you bread and your stomach were full? This is something that was unknown and He called this a miracle. The miracle is not the five thousand eating five loaves, but in the process of how the eating took place; which is the manner and the way it was done.
I always tell us that there are instructions that are the result of the miracle. Jesus was showing them that somebody had to surrender what he had and cherishes; after that it was given in the hands of God. This is the system - unless somebody surrenders, there will be nothing to bless.
Why will the LORD have a problem with people eating? It was not about the eating. If you are going to be fruitful you must surrender what you have. There are things you must surrender at the altar of God. He says you failed to see the miracle and the signs I was showing you- the process of abundance where you will lack nothing in your life and some of the things are the things that you love.
There won’t be any thanksgiving because God blesses nothing unless if it was surrendered, that’s why He said - “Not My will but Your will be done.” So God cannot bless you until you surrender your will to His will; because if there is no surrendering there is not going to be proclamation of the blessing.
Making the WORD of God the standard of your living- surrendering your marriage, finances, business and your life; so that there may be a blessing. Everything that is surrendered is able to reach the hands of God. “Today when you hear His WORD do not harden your hearts.”
It says “It is the blessing of the LORD that maketh rich and add-eth no sorrow.” There is nothing that will be blessed unless you learn to surrender. A rich man came to Jesus he said - “I have kept all the laws since I was young, what must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus said you’ve done everything but one thing is lacking- surrender everything you have;” the young man failed to do so. if you don’t learn to surrender with small things then it will be difficult to lay down bigger things.
John 6 says - “You figured it all wrong, but I was introducing a process; a process of surrendering.”

It is not an issue of working hard to increase your wealth, but the power of the blessing of God; you will never become rich by yourself. It is not every business that maketh rich, but it is the plan of God- there is a system He is introducing - “Surrendering.”
Are you aware if the boy took the bread to Jesus the bread would not be multiplied even to this day? The boy surrendered to the one whom Jesus raised, it is a system and it was the disciples that surrendered the bread to the LORD and the Bible says - “Jesus gave thanks.” The blessing contains the power to increase, and He broke the bread. In the Kingdom of God sometimes while you are celebrating, He breaks you; this one many don’t like it and don’t want to go through it.
If you don’t want to go through pain for the sake of Christ you will go through pain for the ignorance of the WORD of God. Peter says “It is better to suffer for doing what is right than suffer for doing what is wrong.” Nobody in this world is immune to suffering; He said it to us that - “As long as you are in this world there will be trouble;” but the question is will you suffer for doing what is right? Whether you give tithe or not, there will be suffering, but it is better to suffer for being faithful to the LORD. This is what will determine if the LORD will be successful in moulding you or not.
Not all pain is bad and there is no one who is immune to pain. There is pain that brings growth and the pain that causes one to perish. The people who are in hospital and people who are in the gym all of them have pain in their bodies; the one who is at the gym the pain is there for the growth of the muscles; but the one in hospital the pain is for the failure of the human body to function well. Even Jesus though He was God He could not skip this system.

When it comes to the principles of being blessed though Jesus was God, He had to follow this principle and never became immune to this system. Even God who blesses the things that are surrendered, He still had to surrender Himself – “So God loved the World and He gave.” God gave away Jesus and later what did He do? He pronounced a blessing – “This is My Son, in whom I Am well pleased;” After He pronounced a blessing the Spirit took Him to the desert to be crushed.
God made Jesus known to the world, but it was not the blessing that made Him known rather it was the crushing. The crushing enabled Him to finish His purpose.
Verse 7 - What happened here? Jesus surrendered Himself even to death on the cross.
Verse 8-9- God enabled Jesus to be known at the stage of greatness. Each and every one of us has a destiny, but not even a single one of us will fulfil this destiny without this process and system.
Scripture reading: John 6:26-58(AMPC)
Verse 26-33 – Jesus gave ordinary bread and He said there is another bread, and a system I was introducing. He says “It is My Father who gives this bread,” not who will give you.
Verse 34-38 – “I have come not to do My will, but I Am here to do My Father’s will;” but definitely not without surrendering and crushing. Remember Jesus waited 18 good years to begin His ministry, by the age of 12 He was already ripe, but His ministry began at the age of 30. Jesus knew how to surrender and waited for 18 years. John 2 He says “Anytime for you will do but My time has not come.”
Verse 39-40 - How many times has been repeating this thing? “I will raise you up on the last day.” The last sign that proves that we are saved is rising on the last day at the sound of the of trumpet.
Verse 41-44 - Our problem we like to draw many people to ourselves. God will not start by bringing people, first He will start by chasing people away. There are people He will chase and this is one of the reasons why many are still single today; they hold onto relationships that are not from God. If God wants to take you out of a certain relationship it’s because He wants to take you into marriage.
One of the reasons we partake is so that one day we will arise, not only that our sins can be forgiven. Do you see how important the Holy Communion is? It is eating and partaking that will give us the ability to rise on the last day.
Verse 45 - So, they are all going to be taught by the Father; you might think I am the one who is teaching here. This is more than English what we are teaching here.
Verse 46-48 – That’s why we must call Him the bread of life and the living bread as we are eating Him. We must not call the bread “it” but rather we must call the bread Him; we must call Him the bread of life. Everyone who eats of Him will never be hungry. “The LORD is my Sheppard I will not lack- He is the one who feeds me.”
Don’t you understand that the principles that God has given you can never fail? When it comes to Holy Communion we must give God the best, look how people are presenting themselves for the dead which perishes, how much more about God.
What is the miracle? The miracle is that He has becoming part of the bread to the point that the moment you tear the bread, He is part of that tearing. He didn’t say this is like My flesh, but He says “This is My Flesh.”
The moment you say this is the bread of life and you pray you are given access to go and have a bite on Him. It is the way of the Father that we must eat of Him. Every time we eat of Him don’t see it as the past, see yourself going there two thousand years ago drinking directly from Him. These are the things of the Spirit.
Verse 49 – “Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness yet they died.” Do you see He is going to that concept of the bread? The LORD is offering you something that will make you not to die; your life will be sustained by the bread of life, even if your heart stops beating.
Verse 50 - “Man cannot live on bread alone.” He has died for us to live a glorious life, but we will not live that life until we understand the principle of surrendering, blessing and being crushed.
He says “Don’t seek for food that decomposes, but seek for the food that endures to eternity.” They said Master always give us this bread; they didn’t understand what they were asking for.
Verse 51-53 - You cannot have any life in you unless you eat the flesh; when He says eat it, He is not saying with the mouth, because this level takes more than a mouth to eat. Paul says “We know in part but later we shall know fully.”
Do you know why God is patient with you? He knows the full version of you. The bread we are eating it was surrendered, blessed and undergone crushing. You must understand the kind of the God we have. Heaven has placed a mark of endorsement upon Jesus; this is to say He can never fail regardless of the things you go through.
The bible says in the book of Mark; when Peter found Him, he said “Master where were you? All men were looking for you- when you reach that dimension, all men will look for you, but all men will not look for this vision of you.
Verse 53 - He is talking about the blood now. In the market place there are different kind of grapes, the ones that were taken from the tree as they were to be sold and the ones that were crushed. The ones that were crushed its price is high, because the more they work on those grapes the more its price increases. The more you allow God to work on you even your value increases. God will not talk to you only in dreams, He will send angels while you are awake, because now you are matured and you have allowed Him to work on you.
Never undermine Spiritual activities and get used to them. Spirituality has the power to increase your value. Do you know when your value increases, even your boss and people will treat you differently. When your value increases even the places where you are going to be taken to are not going to be ordinary places.
Verse 54-58 – He didn’t say that person will live because he is breathing, but he will live because of Me. These are the things we must believe; what we are eating on that table is not ordinary, it will keep us alive, what Jesus said here is not a lie.
Deuteronomy 31, Moses was 120 years. Moses was too old; Moses did not die because of anger; he died because of old age. He was too old to walk long distance. Moses told even Joshua that he was going to die, he told even the Israelites that he is going to die and when he is dead, they are going to rebel against God.
Moses told Joshua these words and God kept on reminding Joshua the same words. God said this over and over again. He said you will take this people into that land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them.
The Israelites rebelled against God and provoked God to anger and God does not change. If you rebel against Him you will not reign, but somebody will reign over you. This is not only Old Testament, the bible says “He is the same today, yesterday and forever.” Listen to what He says in the book of Jeremiah 17, “Cursed be any man who makes human hand His strength.” You will lose the inheritance that was yours because of your disobedience.
The more God is telling you something and you are delaying to do it, people who you are supposed to rule over will rule over you. What is the problem? We are not stable in the WORD of God.
Words have power to erase other words. Negative words can replace and cancel positive words, and also positive words can replace and cancel negative words. When we are praying, in fellowship, confessing the WORD, everything is well; but when we are under pressure, we are cancelling the words we spoke through complaining and murmuring.
Shadows can never hurt you, every hardship you are facing is like a shadow of a dog, that’s why you must learn to watch over your mouth, most especially when you are under pressure. If the mouth is not governed well it can shut great doors which was already opened for you.
He said Joshua I am going to die take the people of God to the land the LORD has promised them, but one thing is needed – “Be strong and courageous.” September is our mouth of the Courageous Mind. Courage is the ability to face difficulties and challenges and still act on the WORD of God. Build the courageous mind in the month of September and you shall flourish in the promises of the LORD.
Are you aware that it is only when we are facing challenges that we doubt the WORD of God? When we doubt, we utter what cancel the prophecies that were about to manifest, the doors that were already opened by our mouth we shut them.
The LORD says the problem is the mind. In the month of September, we are not only renewing the mind, we are building a courageous mind, the mind that is like of Joshua and Caleb. He says Joshua and Caleb possess a different spirit and that spirit is called a courageous mind. In the time of adversity and temptation that kind of mind does not change its confession and faith.
I realised what the world is calling south is not south, because when they say things are going south, they are saying things are going wrong; but the WORD says the pole in the world that carries challenges is the north. In the book of Isaiah, God says “I will say to the north stop now the LORD rebukes you,” and the LORD say “I will say to the south withhold not back;” so it means blessings and breakthrough are coming from the south pole.
There is a need for us to grow; in this month of September, we are going to build the mind. The capacity God was talking about it is in the state of the mind, He says – “Renew the spirit of the mind.” When your mind is weak you become easily offended and angered, but when you have a strong mind you will be able to face every challenge that is coming to you by responding to it with a good attitude; because your mind is courageous. May the LORD bless His WORD in the midst of our hearts.
