UNDERSTAND YOUR STRENGTH AS A YOUTH
BROTHER THABO
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you."
— Jeremiah 1:5
God didn't discover you. He designed you.
Before your parents chose your name. Before the hospital, before the ultrasound — God already knew every scar you'd carry, every gift you'd hide, every question you'd ask at 2am wondering if any of it matters.
You weren't a surprise to Heaven. You were a decision.
"Do not say, 'I am only a youth'; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you."
— Jeremiah 1:7-8
God said this to a young man who thought he was too small for the assignment.
Sound familiar?
Here's what God is saying to you today: Your age is not a limitation — it's a location. He is placing you exactly where you are, at exactly this age, for a reason that older, "more experienced" people cannot fulfill.
The world will tell you to wait your turn. God is saying — this is your turn.
"The glory of young men is their strength."
— Proverbs 20:29
Not their perfection. Not their theology degrees. Not their zero-mistake record.
Their strength.
God is not waiting for you to have it all figured out. He is calling you now — with your fire, your hunger, your unbroken idealism that the world hasn't had a chance to wear down yet.
That energy you feel? That restlessness? That burning feeling that you were made for more?
That's not immaturity. That's anointing.
Happy Youth Day. God's best is not behind you — it's ahead.
