Title: The Word is Alive and Active

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Word of God is alive and active, you need to acknowledge and know that everything we read from God’s Word is alive. But if you do not acknowledge it, it will not live in you and will not work for you.

God’s Word is personally written for you, and it comes alive within you when you study and apply it. See His Word as a message from Him; therefore, honour what is written and uphold it.

The Word of God governs how we should conduct ourselves. It is a constitution from heaven filled with principles we are called to understand and obey. You have a right to claim the Word when you live according to the heavenly constitution. The Word of God must influence our lives and everything that concerns us.

The Word of God should be the standard and reference point for your life. Before you take the Word to other people, let it work for you first. Be a witness to God’s Word, people must see the Word working in you.

The Word of God should reflect Christ in you, even without you speaking about it. Allow it to be alive in you. Choose the Word all the time, and allow it to transform you.

This is our time. Our month.
We will arise, step into our purpose, and let our light shine.
No more hiding. No more waiting.
No more small thinking or shrinking back.

Youth, this is the season to stand bold for Christ.
To rise up. To speak up. To take our place.
The world is waiting for what God put inside us.
So let’s step out and shine.

When God breathes on His Word, it becomes more than ink on paper.
It teaches, corrects, and transforms us from the inside out.

2 Timothy 3:16 - "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God..."

Let the Word do its work in you today.

Title: Four-Fold Ministry of the Word

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
II Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV

All Scripture, the Word of God was breathed by God. It was not researched and put together into a thesis, it was written out of God’s breath. It is non-existent if it is not breathed by God.

You are made complete if the Word of God is in you (v17), and His Word will help you to be righteous. The Word of God is profitable, you gain something out of it. Without the Word you work to a loss, there is no profit, no gain. You should have a desire to study the Word and be well positioned for the profit.

It is within this context that the church at large must go back to the true Gospel - the Church to be teachable, receive reproof with meekness, acknowledge and subject itself to correction, and desire training in righteousness and holiness.

It is impossible to profit from the Word, live in abundance unless you submit to these four pillars of the Word. It is impossible to grow spiritually and bear fruits unless you surrender yourself wholly to the Scripture. The Church today seems to be crippled just like the people of Jerusalem as they rejected Christ - the Scripture is silent and portrays a picture that Jesus performed no miracles there because of their hearts.

If the Church is serious about salvation and the power thereof, we need to return our hearts to the Scripture that is breathed by God to be profitable to our spiritual needs in turn birthing life in abundance.

As you step into this new week, remember:

Gideon saw himself as weak, insignificant, and unqualified, but God called him a mighty man of valor before he ever stepped onto the battlefield.

Don’t allow your background, current circumstances, past mistakes, or the opinions of others to define you this week.
Hold on to the identity God has spoken over your life.

Ephesians 1 reminds us that in Christ we are chosen, accepted, redeemed, and deeply loved by God.

Walk into this week with confidence, not because of who the world says you are, but because of who God says you are.

A tree bends in the direction it leans toward.

Your life, and even your choices, will eventually follow the direction you constantly lean into.

You can’t lean toward the world and expect Christ-like outcomes.

If we lean into Christ, our thoughts, decisions, desires, and identity begin to align with Him.

Choose today to lean into Christ.

Title: Identity

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

The keyword in this verse is righteousness. Being righteous has nothing to do with your condition or circumstance, it has everything to do with your position. Be in the right position to be in the right standing with God.

When you find yourself in a tough position or in a dark place, God will bring you to light at His right time (Col 1:13). Do not lose your identity while waiting for God to take you out from a dark place, remain composed. And, always call yourself the way God calls you (valuable, purchased, highly esteemed, precious, etc.)

When you know who you are in God, you will believe in His absolute forgiveness. This means trusting in His unconditional love and mercy, free from guilt, shame and condemnation. His absolute forgiveness comes with the following:

- Peace and joy,
- Restores your relationship with Him,
- Sets you free from burdens of past mistakes,
- Encourages you to have humility, gratitude and love,
- And makes you forgive others.

Psalm 103 reminds us of God’s forgiveness, unfailing love and for us to have gratitude:

- Bless the Lord: David starts by telling his own soul to bless the Lord. He reminds us not to be forgetful but to actively recall all the good things God has done (v1-2).

- The benefits of God's grace: He forgives, heals, redeems, loves, and strengthens you (v3-5).

- God's compassion and patience: One of the most comforting parts of this psalm is the revelation of God's character. It reminds us that God is "compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in love". He does not punish us according to our sins, because He understands our human nature (v8-14).

- Unconditional and eternal love: Unlike human life, which is compared to fading grass and fragile wildflowers, God's love and righteousness are everlasting (v15-17).

Remember that a tree falls in the direction it is leaning.

Our Sunday School did not just participate, they led with grace and ministered throughout the service. With their little voices, big faith, and hearts fully surrendered to God.

“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.””
Matthew 19:14 NKJV

This portion of Scripture reminds us that children should not be sidelined, they too should be allowed to serve in the Kingdom of God.

What a beautiful and blessed Sunday service we had, led by our beloved Sunday school children.

We witnessed young hearts boldly praising, worshipping, praying, preaching the Word and serving in the house of the Lord with so much joy, passion and confidence.

It is truly a blessing to see the next generation being raised in the ways of God and learning to serve Him wholeheartedly from such a young age.

May the Lord continue to increase their wisdom, preserve, strengthen, guide, and use them for His glory.

We are indeed raising mighty vessels in the Kingdom of God.

The name of Jesus Christ carries power, authority, salvation, healing, and victory.

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV
