Title: The Jesus Business 4 - WE WILL WORK FOR IT LORD.

Greetings Saints in the name of our Lord and Savior, Master Jesus, amen and amen.

We are almost there, as we are about to close the week of this series, the Bible says in Genesis 24:19

“After she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have had enough to drink.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭24:19‬

Meditation: Divine appointments requires Dedicated Commitment, whenever God releases a Season of Blessing, it requires an Action of Effort, things of heaven are never easy come, they require WORK, check the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, God worked with Hard Working People, laziness can never be part of God’s agenda on earth.

A single camel can drink up to 200 litres of water and can carry up to 270 kilograms of weight. Saints, we are going somewhere here. Rebekah when asked for water by the man, she says, don’t worry, I’ll give you water but I’ll also give water to all the 10 camels too, I will make sure they all drink to satisfaction, I will use one jar to give them 2000 litres of water, I AM WILLING TO WORK. By this time she doesn’t know what she’s working for, sometimes God will make you work for things you don’t even know anything about, she worked without having an expectation, SHE HAD A HEART TO SERVE, she had the COMMITMENT to FINISH what she has STARTED, she didn’t GIVE UP IN THE PROCESS, until each an every camel drank enough water. This is the character we should have.

Whether God says you’ll have it or you not, HAVE A HEART TO WORK. Degrees don’t grow on trees, healthy marriages don’t fall from heaven, strong families are not sold at spaza shops, spiritual growth doesn’t come while you laying in the couch, promotions don’t land on just open arms, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK. Work Hard for it, never forget that what you’re working for can never equate to the blessing that God will release. Sometimes all that God wants is to see the WILLINGNESS to PUT the EFFORT, you don’t work because God MUST reward you, you work so that you can SHOW you’re WORTHY to be ENTRUSTED. You WORK POSITIONS you for the RAIN OF HEAVEN.

The Bible says, “if your faithful with the little, you’ll be trusted with more”. Be faithful with that small energy to work and prepare yourself to be trusted with Bigger Blessings your human effort cannot produce. Look, verse 32 says all camels were offloaded with the even bigger gifts. That’s our God, for a small jar of commitment, God releases over 2700 kilograms of ALL KINGS OF GOOD THINGS (v10), mhmmmmm my God. We trust in You Father, that a small jar of effort, You release the HEAVENS BEST. All KINDS of Heavens Best. From a small act of commitment, You release the HEAVENS OVERFLOW. Hallelujah!

God is raising a generation of Christians who won’t just speak in tongues but work the soil, toil all night, pray and fast, commit to the effort, because we are a different kind of breed, a breed that invests the best of their little to enjoy and be rewarded with the GREATEST OF HEAVEN. I don’t know but I feel a wave of workers saying “LORD, WEWILL WORK FOR IT”. We don’t need to know it but we will WORK, we don’t need to smell it but we will WORK, we don’t need to see it but we will WORK, we don’t even need a promise, WE WILL WORK, we don’t need reassurance, FIND US WORKING LORD. We WANT TO WORK, laziness times are gone, in Jesus name, can I get an ameeeeeen????

Rebekah showed character, she didn’t even know that her husband is rich, he owns lands, he owns livestock, but God was able to trust her with riches he was about to inherit from Abraham his father (chapter 25:5). Can I just say you don’t ask God for a wealthy spouse if you can’t manage 10 camels? How are you prepared to manage Millions if you can’t deal with a mere R350 government grant? Show thyself an approved servant, start with that R8000 salary, R80 000 will surely come your way. Mhmmmmmmmmmm!

Title: The Jesus Business 3: Don’t Take Him There

Greetings Saints in the Matchless name of our Lord and Saviour, King Jesus, amen and amen.

As we journey in “The Jesus Business” journey this week, Saints it takes the Holy Spirit as a True Companion to understand the depths of the scriptures and the power of His Word in action in our lives, seek Him, He’s there, He’s available and He’s able, amen.

Now the Bible says in Genesis 24:6, “No!” Abraham responded. “Be careful never to take my son there.”

Meditation: The Lord our God has given us a task, a task to take care of the salvation that has been endowed us with, a great treasure and asset, worthy of eternal glory of appreciation. A value that can never be substituted, none-whatsoever to any other thing, the privilege and blessing that can never be taken away by any means of gratification. We’re are called to be responsible of taking care of God’s salvation in our lives.

Abraham embarks on a journey to have his son Isaac to have a wife, he speaks to his servant to go and seek a wife for his son and in that process that we will walk through this week he gives a clear instruction, “don’t take my son there”.

We have been given an order, an instruction to not take what is valuable to God to a place that can lead to temptation, yes the servant could go but the son had to wait for the blessing. There are places you don’t need to go, it doesn’t matter how strong you are, how prayerful you are, how many days you can fast consecutively, it doesn’t matter how much you can speak in tongues and interpret the scriptures, yes you may be singing power down & the best usher at church, you may the the chief deacon and leader of leaders, you may be a bishop or prophet, there are places you can’t just go.

God is saying you today, the Holy Spirit lives in you and DON’T TAKE HIM THERE. As we close our day 3:

- Don’t take Jesus to any place,
- Don’t take Him to places He delivered you from,
- Don’t take Him to places He rescued you from,
- Don’t take Him to places of compromise
- Don’t take Him to places where anyone can question your salvation

DON’T TAKE THE SON THERE.

You are invited to watch movies indoors, just you and him? And you expect tongues and hymns? Don’t take Him there. Fire is good in the fire place, keep it there, the moment you remove the fire from the fireplace, the house burns down. Watch out and pray for wisdom and strength, DON’T GO THERE!

You know the places our friends frequent at, don’t take Him there. You know places some “traditions and cultural practices” want you to go, heeeeyyyyyy don’t take Him there. Don’t take Him where peer pressure leads, don’t take Him where short cuts are, don’t take Him where He won’t take you.

DON’T TAKE HIM THERE, in Jesus name, amen and amen.

Title: The Jesus Business 2 - BE THE ONE!

Greetings Saints in the name of our Lord, our King, our Master, the Lover of our soul, Jesus Christ, amen.

The Bible says, “This is my request. I will ask one of them, ‘Please give me a drink from your jug.’ If she says, ‘Yes, have a drink, and I will water your camels, too!’—let her be the one you have selected as Isaac’s wife. This is how I will know that you have shown unfailing love to my master.” - Genesis‬ ‭24:14‬

Meditation: Now the Servant has departed, he’s guaranteed to succeed, he takes ten camels and loads them with the expensive gifts leaves for his destined location. When he arrives there, he prays, “Lord, I PRAY THAT LET HER BE THE ONE! Wow, Jesus.

As I close, hehehe my God, today we stand in faith, whatever we are pursuing in life, LET IT BE THE ONE! We speak against confusion and multiple confusing options that never bring certainty, LORD, LET IT BE THE ONE. My brothers and sisters who are seeking for marriage, LET HER/HE BE THE ONE. We refuse to look at what the world defines as stability, bank balance, a car, a house, a degree, life goals, or interests or hobbies that are common, but we pray FOR THE ONE. Lord, not the one who will change after three years or two weeks but LET IT BE THE ONE WHO WILL STICK IT THROUGH. If the one who’s here is not THE ONE, Remove them Lord before we make life time commitments. We desire a perfect and not just permissible will of our Lord. Lord, we come against heartbreaks in the house of the Lord, LET THEM BE THE ONE!

Lord, we refuse to settle for jobs because we can’t find the ones You have called us for, from now as we send our CV’s to various companies, LET THE ONE THAT RESPONDS, BE THE ONE!

We can’t be a church that is not progressive.

Lord we pray, above all things that we may BE THE ONE. Let us be those Christians who are different, the PRAYING ONE, the COMMITTED ONE, the HONEST ONE, the LOYAL ONE, the ONE WHO GROWS IN FAITH, the ONE WHO STICKS TO HOLINESS. That ONE GENERATION that REFUSES to COMPROMISE their SALVATION.

Lord, we know that BEING THE ONE is not easy, things have to fall apart, mountains have to shake, waters have to be parted, frenemies have to be exposed, whatever the cost, WE DESIRE TO BE THE ONE! If it means You turn the tables around, do so because we want to be THE ONES THAT LEAVES A LASTING HEAVENLY LEGACY BEHIND. We refuse to be the same generation of young adults who don’t have direction and spend their youth in worthless things that have no value, LET US BE THE ONES who look foolish to the world because You said in Your Word that wisdom from heaven is foolishness to those who are perishing.

Father, we ask in all earnest, LET US BE THE ONE! That ONE that changes the GENERATIONAL DIRECTION of our families. Our great grand parents didn’t last in marriage, our grand parents didn’t graduate, our parents didn’t have a house that’s theirs but WE ARE THE ONE to BREAK that cycle. From US going forward, our families will graduate, our families will buy property, our families will have stable jobs, our families will PRAY, and seek Your face. Our families will desire Your will. Lord, WE ARE THE ONE, THE ONE THAT PASSES through the Red Sea, THE ONE that BRINGS THE WALLS OF JERICHO DOWN, LORD WALK AHEAD OF US, WALK BESIDE US, WALK BEHIND US but above all WALK IN US HOLY SPIRIT, in Jesus Mighty name, WE ARE THE ONE, ameeeeeeeen.

Title: The Jesus Business 1 - Angels Ahead of You!

Greetings Saints in the Matchless name of our Lord and Saviour, King Jesus, amen and amen.

As we journey in “The Jesus Business” journey this week, Saints it takes the Holy Spirit to understand the depths of the scriptures and the power of His Word, amen.

Genesis 24:7b says “…He will send his angel ahead of you, and he will see to it that you find a wife there for my son.”
‭

Meditation: Abraham desires his son Isaac to have a wife, he speaks to his servant to go and seek a wife for my son and he gives a clear reassurance to the servant that, “God will send his Angel ahead of you and he will see to it that you will succeed in doing what I had asked you to do”. Oh what a glorious statement.

In closing, allow me to encourage your faith today:

- where God has called you, He Pre-Pares the blessing in advance
- God will never send you to a place that He will not secure the outcome
- God will allocate sufficient resources to ascertain that your journey succeeds
- God will make sure that the angelic host will be mandated to serve you
- The servant went to look for a wife, God had prepared her before his (the servants) arrival.
- Right where you are, that blessing that has been prepared in advance, God will call the right people, in the right location, at the right time to make sure that what you’re coming for is ready for you in the perfect timing of the Lord.
- There is a secure deal, sealed with the blood of the Lamb that guarantees you success on your journey.

Therefore, stand in the boldness of your faith that it doesn’t matter how many days, months, years it’s gonna take me to get there. It doesn’t matter who hates me, it doesn’t matter who doesn’t prefer me, it doesn’t matter who doesn’t like me, it doesn’t matter who has better qualification, I am pursuing this in the instruction and grace of the Lord.

I am walking in this with a covering of a covenant that He has sent His angels to prepare the way for me, when I arrive, the Lord will redirect the blessing to my location, it is an effort of a human to get to the location but it is the effort of God to release the blessing. Yours is to be rightfully positioned for the rightfully endowed blessing. Human effort cannot outdo God’s promised blessing. You’re secured, you’re set, you’re guaranteed, the Bible says “the just shall live by faith”. The servant left Canaan with camels but came back with a wife, the angels delivered the package that God has given to them. You may go empty handed but you will come back hands full.

I beseech you today, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, go to that promised place, go to that blessed location, go to that institution to register, apply for that employment, go submit that business proposal, God has sent His angels ahead of you, to guarantee you success. For in Him, there is no failure, His promises are yea and amen. Ohhhh hallelujah. What a Mighty God we serve.

It doesn’t matter the recession
It doesn’t matter the value of the rand
It doesn’t matter the level of unemployment
It doesn’t matter how many companies are retrenching
It doesn’t matter how many people are failing
It doesn’t matter the negative outlook

You are a covenant child, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, set apart for holy use and called for such a time as this, you don’t operate in seasons, but you operate on purpose. Ah my God, my Jesus, Lord, You’re so good. Ameeeeen.

Title: A Hopeful Cloud.

Greetings Saints in the name of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.

I take this opportunity to announce that Jesus is Coming and very soon. Let us took at today’s devotion from the book of 1st Kings 18:44 (NIV)

“The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”

Meditation: Elijah a praying man, the Israelites have just seen the power of a Praying Man and the Unmatched Almighty Power of an Answering God. A God who is able to answer in a desperate situation, a situation that seemed almost impossible. The nation had to experience not just an answer of a prayer of a man who is after God’s heart but the destruction of the foreign gods and their altars. God brought to shame the foreign gods and exposed their evil ways and acts without power. The whole city was speaking of this amazing transformation. This reminds me of our day of Salvation, when we saw God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, crushing down the claws of hell from our lives and providing with an answer of Fire of the Holy Ghost. What a revival and a testimony.

We now like the Israelites and the people of Samaria acknowledge Him as the Only True God. Elijah prays for Rain! He goes to the Mount of Carmel and he is seeking the very same God who answered with fire just a moment ago. This portion seems very familiar, where when we find ourselves having an answered prayer, we go and pray for more. But the Bible says for six (6) times Elijah kept sending his servant to go and check a HOPEFUL CLOUD and six (6) times the servant came back with a NO answer! Often times in life we find ourselves in a journey of delays, however God’s delays are never His denials.

Take a walk along the scriptures, Abraham and Sarah waited, Hannah waited one of the most frustrating waiting period, Joseph had to wait in a discouraging season, Paul and Silas had to wait in the deep of the night, the Shunamite had already given up on the idea of a son. May I take this graceful opportunity to remind you, GOD IS COMING FOR YOUR AID, HE IS COMING WITH AN ANSWER, HE IS COMING TO BRING A BREAK THROUGH! Do not give up, do not throw in the towel. The season of waiting is a season of Character Building, a period of Growth of Faith, the passage of Deepened Commitment, where you are going to pray the 1st time, the 2nd time without an answer, the 03rd, the 04th, the 05th, the 06th.

Bazalwane, this is not the kind of waiting that requires patience, no! This is the kind of waiting that requires commitment. Do not give up, you may be praying in chains of frustration and depression, but the GOD of Heaven owns the clouds and the water, He commands the rain in season. Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone”. Today, we join in faith and in prayer with you, that may the Lord send through a THUNDERSTORM of BLESSINGS, whoooh my Jesus. As you ask for the rain in the spring time, may He give showers of answers to all your requests, this is the God who will beyond that also provide plants in the field. Not for some, not for the few, not for the special but the bible says for EVERYONE, for ALL PEOPLE!

On the 07th occasion, the Servant saw a HOPEFUL CLOUD! A cloud as small as a man’s hand. That is more than enough, it takes a faith as small as a mustard seed and a CLOUD as small as a man’s hand to activate HOPE, my Jesus, A HOPEFUL CLOUD. The HOPE of GLORY that is Jesus Christ. Now my fellow Co-Heirs in Christ, go through the season of Character Building and Faith Strengthening! Do not give up in the Process of Preparation. God answers Prayers and Prayers according to His will and purpose.

Never forget, a HOPEFUL CLOUD is a result of NOT GIVING UP when everything gives you the reasons to. Many of us have given up on the 6th check, oh my God, may we not miss our season of Breakthrough because we gave up in our moment of answers. Once again, endure the process of Spiritual Development and Valuing of Relationship between you and God, so that when the season of answers comes, you know you will not be drunk of blessings but soberminded that He is YOUR GOD EVEN WHEN THERE’S NO ANSWER.

The Youth In Christ SA sends our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family, friends and school mates of Lufuno Mavhungu, who allegedly lost her life due to su***de after a bullying incident which took place off the school premises, yet within the school uniform which has assisted the authorities and public in identifying from which school the learners belong to.

It is said that Lufuno a Grade 10 Limpopo schoolgirl overdosed on prescription pills and passed away on Monday after she was humiliated and assaulted by fellow pupils in the presence of other learners who not only found this entertaining but had the audacity to record and laugh about the incident. We believe that video content which is widely shared on social media platforms is sufficient evidence to assist in investigating this matter.

The Youth In Christ SA condemns these acts of violence and requests the authorities in Law Enforcement and the Department of Education both in the Province of Limpopo and Nationally to give this matter the urgency it deserves.

The Lord, God Almighty loves us all, His greatest desire is to give us peace and requires of us to live together in harmony as the Bible says, “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”
‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭133:1‬ ‭. It it unimaginable the level of depression this incident has caused on the life of a young Lufuno who had dreams to one day become a successful and impactful individual. Our prayers goes to the Mavhungu family.

We pray that the Lord heals your broken hearts during these difficult times, He cares and He loves you. We further encourage the community of Mbilwi and the nation at large to stand together to condemn all forms of abuse and bullying within our schools and communities that continues to destroy the lives of God’s loved people and children.

May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, amen!
