* There is power in abiding. When you abide you account God in His fullness. There is a time where you must abide in the Presence of God so that God can manifest his Glory upon your life.
* You become the channel of solutions through abiding in the Word of God. When you abide in the Word of God, it creates a channel of living waters in your life.
* It is in the Presence where we get to know more about God. When you stay in the Presence and in the Word of God, you gain value.
* Some of you are believers and are prayerful but you are not bearing fruits; this is because you are abiding in the Church and not in the Presence of God.
* Learn to Abide in the Word of God and in the Prayer. Don’t be a tourist in the Reading of His Word and in Prayer but abide and be consistent in reading the Word of God and Praying.
* There is power in abiding. In abiding it is where you get your solution.

* As believers, we don’t just wake up and choose to do whatever we want to do for the day, we must first recognise a Kingdom which is guided by principles, which is the Kingdom of God.
* In everything we begin, we must begin with Christ so that when we run out of strength, He will give you power to continue.
* The blessing of beginning with Him is that he will walk with you in every step and if you take the wrong step He will redirect you step. If you get tired, He will renew your strength.
* You may be able to begin on your own strength but along the way your strength will run out, it will run out for good because no one will renew your strength.
* In the beginning of that marriage, business, job or anything, Christ must be in the Centre.
* If you don’t begin with Him, whenever you call Him you will feel like He is taking time to answer you. Call Him on time so that He can walk with you in every step.

1 Timothy 6:20-21

1. By reading the Bible, we can safeguard our faith. God's Word is what strengthens our faith. It's not a sign that you know the Bible if you attend church every Sunday. It takes time to read and meditate on God's Word in order to be a carrier of that Word. You cannot be readily tricked if you carry the Word of God. By reading the Bible, we can safeguard our faith. Schedule some time at home to read the Bible since it gives us power. When faced with challenges, the Bible offers us hope and fortitude. You will use scriptures as a means of resistance against the devil whenever he tests you
2. Also, you can protect your faith by staying away from false doctrine/teachings. Let the spirit of discernment lead you. You shouldn't force yourself to follow a doctrine if your spirit doesn't agree with it.Don't tolerate false doctrine.
3. You guard your faith by praying consistently and read the Word.

THE WORD OF GOD: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

John 13 : 6 - 7

Peter understood the power and authority Jesus had that’s why he questioned Him before he could allow him to wash his feet - in other words He was saying “it is I who was suppose to wash your feet not the other way round.”
Jesus replied and said “ What I am doing you do not understand now, but later you will understand.” The season / challenge/ situation that you are going through now, you might not understand it but later you will, you will understand why you had to go through that hardship, why you had to suffer, why you had to be betrayed.

God allows everything to happen for a reason, you might not see it now with the physical eye but one day you will and everything will make sense. When God sees danger coming your way He protects you and sometimes His protection comes in a way that we least expected / in a way that makes us question Him.

2 Timothy 4:6

Those who will receive the crown of righteousness are those who maintain their faith without succumbing to sin. Sin strips away your true self and leaves you exposed. It reduces your prayers to mere noise, rendering them ineffective. Sin erodes your identity in God and diminishes your strength and will. Jesus's declaration that sin's power is broken indicates that sin does hold power. It can lead you to act in ways that are contrary to your usual behavior.

Sin removes your divine nature, which is an aspect of your being that isn't visible to the naked eye. A righteous person is not afraid of death because they are confident in their salvation and the completion of their earthly journey. In contrast, a sinful person fears death.

Avoid sin, as you will stand alone in judgment. It is crucial for the church to return to its original devotion to God. Sin remains sin, and as Christians, we must not dilute or normalize it.

Many believers are distant from God but closely tied to the Church. They have strayed from following the principles outlined in the Bible. We live in a time where people interpret "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ" as a license to sin, which is a misunderstanding. While Christ was crucified for our sins, this doesn't mean we should persist in sin, as doing so is like crucifying Christ anew.

Let us go back to the love God. Take this Gospel of truth and go live by it!

THE WORD OF GOD: HOW TO BUILD A FIRM FOUNTAIN IN GOD.

In your Christian walk, if your foundation is not strong you will be easily shaken, the enemy will destroy and distract your walk with Christ. The problems you face during your walk with Christ are not there to kill you but to strengthen you, if they are not strengthening you just know that your foundation have been tempered with.

Psalm 125 : 1 - 2

How do you lay a firm foundation in the Lord?

1. Believe.
The first principle of laying a foundation is to believe. The bible says those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion. Believe even though you don’t see, believe that we are strong even though you are weak, believe that Christ has made a way even though you don’t see a way at the moment, believe that you have conquered even though it doesn’t feel or like it. You won’t survive in the Christian walk when you don’t believe. Jesus asked Martha “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”(John‬ ‭11‬ :‭ 40‬). Everything that you need in the Kingdom of God it start by you believing that you have possessed it. For you to have a strong firm foundation in Christ you need to believe that Christ died and resurrected on the 3rd day, and that He died for you to be saved.

2. Faith.
Faith is the hope and the belief of the things that are to come. Having faith is saying “many might have failed but it won’t fail me because all this are possible with Christ” (Matthew 19 : 26).

3. Don’t compromise your faith.
When you allow your faith to be compromised you give room for the devil, you are giving him a pulpit to preach into your life. Don’t look for ways or things to “help you” because God is taking long to answer your prayers, wait in Jerusalem, wait on God even when it takes time because things that come from God are permanent, He doesn’t give like the world does.

THE WORD OF GOD: HOW TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN A PERSONAL STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Most Christians haven’t built a relationship with God, many are in churches but only few have a personal relationship with God. At times it looks like God answers other people’s prayers and not answer others - it’s because of the relationship one has with God.
A relationship with God is more than going to church, it is more than being anointed than others, it’s more than having money than others, it is not when you are happily married, a relationship with God is when you understand the depth of His love. It is when you understand that for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬).

How do you build and maintain a personal strong relationship with God?

1. God is love.
Our God is a God of love that’s why the bible says “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.”
‭‭(I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Everything you are doing for God without love it is useless. Love is the foundation of a relationship with God because if you cannot love the person you see how can you love a God you cannot see ( 1 John 4 : 20). For you to know is a person knows God you will see by the way the love people around them. God is love, lacking love is like lacking God Himself.

2. Making time for God.
Making time for God is not only when you come to church, it is when you make Him part of your schedule or your day-to-day to-do things. Use that time to read His word, to worship Him and do things that are Him centred and honour that time and not compromise it.

3. Value God.
When you start a foundation God, when you go to that interview God, when you apply God, in the beginning of everything that you do put God first, even in the bible every began with God, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”.‭‭( Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬ )

4. Constant fasting and prayer.
Be a prayerful person to a point where if you don’t pray something inside of you reminds you. There should be an alarm of prayer in your heart that reminds you to pray and fast just like a your stomach reminds you to eat whenever you haven’t eaten.

THE WORD OF GOD : UNDERSTANDING YOUR PURPOSE

Every individual is born with and for a purpose and it is important to know and understand it. Not knowing your purpose can make you make a lot of mistakes in life. God created every individual for a purpose, some your purpose is not your family but the family that you will get married to, some your purpose is not your children but is where you are going to marry. Every individual has a unique and special purpose.

How do you identify and understand your purpose?

1. Know your passion.
Your purpose mainly aligns with your passion. The things that you are mostly burning for happens to be your purpose. (Not things that lead you to sin.) Purpose has the ability to push you to the right place in the right time.

Judges 16 : 30

God created Samson as a weapon to destroy the Philistines - Samson’s purpose. The bible says that Samson was passionate about falling in love with daughters of the Philistine to a point where his parents asked him if there’s no other daughter among his tribe that he can marry (Judges 14 : 1 - 3). He was so passionate about marrying a Philistine to a point where when they took his first wife who was a Philistine he went out and caught 300 foxes tied them tail by tail and set them on fire and sent them to burn the field of the Philistine as a massage (Judges 15 : 1 - 6) - instead of moving on and marrying another wife he choose to cause distraction (fulling his purpose unknowingly).

2. The area in which the devil fights you most.
The first day Samson entered Timnah ( a village where the Philistines were located) a lion came roaring at him wanting to kill him - this shows that once you take a step towards your purpose the devil will fighting you . The devil knew that when Samson enters the land of Timnah his purpose will be fulfilled. For example, when you are destined to be a kingdom financer the devil will make sure that you are blocked financially.

The second time Samson entered Gaza thousand soldiers wanted to kill him but with a jawbone he killed thousand soldiers (Judges 15 : 14 ), the other time a bear appeared wanting to kill him - when he enters other camps and villages nothing happens, the devil doesn’t get triggered and nothing threatens his life. The devil fights for you in your area of purpose.

3. Prayer.
When you are a person who prays, you understand your purpose better. Teach yourself to be a prayerful, prayer opens your eyes, it helps you to see beyond, it helps you understand things that other people don’t understand, it pushes you to the right direction, it helps us to see the true intentions of people in our lives, it helps us to differentiate between love and lust, it builds you, it builds your capacity, it brings out the best vision of yourself, it makes your vision clear.

4. Take a step.
You will never understand your purpose sitting down, you need to take a step, make a move. It doesn’t matter how many times you fail, just keep on trying, you will find your right ground. If Ester decided to stay in her father’s house she wouldn’t have turned out to be the queen we are reading about today. Something are in you taking a step, your purpose won’t just come to you, you need to take a step to discover it.
