Deeply honoured to have taken part in the — truly inspiring and deeply thought-provoking.
💡 During the Q&A, I raised two points:
1️⃣ Faith, Finance & Justice
After Mr. Eric LeCompte’s explanation of the and , I asked whether other faith perspectives - especially the prohibition of - would also be considered.
I was glad to hear they intend to explore this, with hopes to ease interest burdens especially on poorer nations.
💡 As , we know why the forbids interest: It keeps people trapped in poverty.
✨️🤍Encouraging to see this acknowledged ✨🕊
2️⃣ Religious Education, Semantics & Fair Representation
I also highlighted the harmful use of terms like “ terrorist,” when no one labels others i.e. “ / / terrorists" etc.
⚠️ YET, vile terror can easily be ascribed to people belonging to ALL ⚠️
❎️ Unfortunately no clear answer was received on this particular issue from the panel.
☑️ Thus, the call remains on us as society to insist that NO or be associated with terrorism or acts of terror.
💡⚠️ People/ human beings commit crime and terror. NOT religion.
3️⃣ My final reflection shares with the panel:
I encouraged a stronger, - working with governments, but also standing but in as faith based organization, leadership and communities, to support people in times of instability.
Faith communities remain a source of , , grounding, and and we must continue to be that backbone for society.
I truly feel honoured, humbled and elated to have contributed in this small manner to the global perspective of these objectives. 🙏🏻🤍✨🕊
SubhanAllah 🤲🏻 (Glory be to God).
