I’d like to share a personal testimony to give glory to God — and I pray it encourages anyone who may find themselves in a similar place to where I once was.
I started singing at the age of 18. My mother, a powerful woman of God whose ministry touched many lives in this nation, taught me everything I know about worship — from flowing with the Holy Spirit to carrying the anointing and cultivating God’s presence.
When we lost my mom in 2018, I sang at her celebration service, but afterward I told Carina it felt like I had lost more than just my mom — I had lost my voice, my confidence, and my boldness. For years, I had led worship in my parents’ ministry, but it was as if the enemy tried to silence me in that moment. My gift went dormant, and for a long time, I couldn’t sing at all.
But today, I’m deeply grateful to be planted in a house where sons are not just pew warmers — but where they are encouraged to serve, sacrifice, and grow. True ministry is about laying down your life, dying to self, and taking ownership of the vision. And when you begin to serve with all your heart, something is birthed in the spirit — a transfer begins to take place. You start to receive impartation and carry the same heart and spirit as the father of the house. That’s when alignment happens — you begin to see the same, speak the same, and act the same — for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
I thank God for His healing, His restoration, and for the impartation of leadership over my life. I can feel my gift being stirred up again — my voice returning — and my destiny being awakened.
To God be all the glory and praise! 🙌🔥 Encounter Church Centurion - HQ
