EAP is part of the solution. It cannot be the entire solution.

Many organisations respond to burnout by offering:
- wellness days;
- resilience training;
- mindfulness;
- counselling;
- EAP;
- employee wellbeing campaigns.

These can be valuable.

But if leadership behaviours, workload design, incentives and organisational culture continue producing chronic exhaustion, the organisation is treating the symptoms while preserving the system.

Transcendent-Quotient Question

When an organisation repeatedly produces burnout, should we keep asking employees to become more resilient, or should we start examining the system producing the exhaustion?
