Imagine worshiping Jesus in heaven.

Obviously, it is definitely a challenge given how small our minds are, but the Bible helps us.

For example, I love the way John pictures the scene.

“Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands and thousands, saying with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!’ And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might for ever and ever.’ And the four living creatures said, ‘Amen!’ and the elders fell down and worshiped.” (Revelation 5:11-14)

Now, I guess, I am just thinking, if that is what worshiping Jesus in heaven is going to look like, can you even conceive of coming to worship Jesus in the middle of all these angels and all this glory and all this beauty and all these other people, and actually looking for the crowd of other Americans or Afrikaans or Congolese or whomever to worship Him with?

What I am saying is, in heaven, I don’t think you are going to be coming to worship Jesus and looking around and saying, I wonder where is my crowd, the people with whom I will be most comfortable? If you are standing next to a few Romans from a couple of thousand years ago who loved Jesus, I don’t think you are going to go home saying to yourself, I just didn’t feel comfortable worshiping alongside of those people. Next time, I am going to try to find some people with whom I have more in common?

Those kinds of things are not going to matter there, so how in the world, does it make any sense, for them to matter here?

AN OPEN VIEW REVELATION
GET IT RIGHT

Praise God, it feel so good to know that we are no longer under the law of the old testament, there was a need for a new change which was why the new testament came through Jesus Christ for the redemption of man kind.
For example
The Ten commandment which was a covenant between God and His people Isreal was given to them under the law of Moses in the book of Exodus 20 to show and guide the people how to leave right with God, and it said ,........................................................................

1 *And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

13 “You shall not murder.

14 “You shall not commit adultery.

15 “You shall not steal.

16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”.....................................................................................................

But there was a need for the new covenant so that God do not have to be in and out of the earth, rather He came and leaved in each an every one who believe in His son Jesus Christ.

confirmation

Hebrew 8: 1-13.....................................................................................................
1 *Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.

3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”[a] 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.

7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8 But God found fault with the people and said[b]:

“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”[c]
13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

know your stand and who you are in Christ Jesus.........
A new creature into the new covenant
Praise God

The Gift of the Holy Spirit

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV).

The Holy Spirit is a Gift to you. Jesus said, “I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper” (John 14:16). The Holy Spirit was given to enter into the heart of every Christian. Rather than giving you just forgiveness, or just eternal life, or just access into Heaven, the Father gave you a person of the Godhead. The gift is the Holy Spirit. When this gift enters your heart, He brings the spiritual riches of Heaven into your life. You have the gift, now unwrap the present and take Him out of the box. When you receive an earthly gift from a friend, you either “try it on” or “see how it works.” Do the same with your gift of the Holy Spirit. Allow Him to work in you.

Holy Spirit, I don’t seek spiritual things; I seek You. I don’t seek spiritual power or blessings. I need You in my life. I receive You as a free gift.

The Holy Spirit is the Helper promised by Jesus (John 15:26). He helps the Father carry out His will on earth. He helps Jesus by delivering eternal life to all who believe in Him. He is the gift to help every believer. Will you open the gift and try it out?

Holy Spirit, come into my heart and help me live for You. I don’t have spiritual power on my own. So come, “My Gift;” I receive You freely. Amen.

Two by Two

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work." Ecclesiastes 4:9

Have you discovered yet that you are incomplete by yourself? During my "warrior" stage of life you would have been hard-pressed to convince me that I needed you or anyone else. I know few people willing to admit their need for others, but many who live according to this principle. However, sooner or later we discover God's truth regarding our need for others.

God made us to need others. We may not discover this until we fail - fail in a business, a marriage, a close friendship, or in a client relationship. We are incomplete without the ongoing input from others into our lives. An independent spirit is one of the most detestable sins from God's viewpoint. It is the highest form of pride. "Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice" (Prov. 13:10).

God has made each of us so that we have only so many gifts. He did not give any of us all the available gifts. Hence, we learn to depend on others and to humbly trust others to complete us where we are deficient.

David had Jonathan. Paul had Silas. John Wesley had George Whitefield. Martin Luther had Philip Melanchthon, who was 14 years younger. Martin Luther learned that he needed someone in his life to complete the work God called him to do. Luther had the greatest respect for this friend who helped him reform the Church of their day, and the Church as we know it at present. Luther learned a great deal from Melanchthon, who was a great scholar at a young age. He could speak several languages, and he became Professor of Greek at the new University of Wittenberg at 21 years of age. This was ten months after Luther posted his famous theses on the church door in Wittenberg. Melanchthon helped shape the Protestant movement of the sixteenth century through his research, writings, moral purpose, and religious conscience. Luther and Melanchthon became inseparable, and when they died, they were buried next to each other.

Who has God placed in your life to complete you? Perhaps it is a mate. Perhaps it is a close friend. Perhaps it is a business partner. If you lack this in your life, I encourage you to seek someone out who can speak into your life. If you have someone like this, tell him or her how much you appreciate the role he or she plays in your life.
