On Sunday, 24 May 2026, Prophet NJ Manyange delivered a powerful teaching, calling the church to examine what sustains their spiritual life. He began by revealing that there are things that disqualify believers from receiving from Christ and one of the greatest is sin.

Teaching from Romans 8:6, he explained that the enemy deposits thoughts into the mind before sin is committed. A believer does not fall suddenly; the fall begins through what is entertained internally. That is why feeding the mind with the Word of God is essential. When the Word fills a person, there is no room for the whispers of sin to dominate.

The man of God asked the church a direct question: โ€œWhat are you doing to feed your spiritual life?โ€ He taught that many believers desire spiritual growth, yet neglect fellowship with the Holy Spirit. A Christian cannot survive without daily communion with God.

Drawing from Galatians 6:8, Prophet NJ Manyange emphasized that where a person stands spiritually is connected to what they continually sow into. If God is not your priority, your spiritual life will slowly weaken. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit must become a lifestyle, not an occasional moment.

Teaching further from John 6:66โ€“69, he explained that many followed Jesus without revelation. Some followed Him for personal benefit, but Peter and the other disciples remained because they understood who Christ truly was. The church was warned not to follow God for selfish reasons, but to follow Him because He is the โ€œI Am That I Am.โ€

The man of God further taught from James 3:18 that conduct reveals identity. The way a believer speaks, behaves and carries themselves privately reflects the true condition of their spirit before God.

He concluded by reminding the church that sin does not only affect the individual, but it grieves the heart of God.

Every time you sin, you are hurting the Creator.

Prophet NJ Manyange delivered a mature word, teaching the church on endurance, patience and remaining in God through every season.

He began by revealing that many believers time God and because of this, they fail to remain in Him. People want answers within their own timelines, but spiritual maturity is seen in the ability to remain in God, even when things are not moving as expected.

The man of God warned congregation that it is better not to receive at all than to receive something you cannot maintain. Many desire blessings, positions and breakthroughs, yet lack the spiritual capacity to sustain what they are praying for.

Teaching from John 16:1โ€“5 and John 16:33, he emphasized that being a Christian does not make a person untouchable. If believers are truly grounded in the Word, they will understand that testing and tribulation are part of the journey.

He further revealed that many today are filled with the spirit of religion instead of true revelation through the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not merely a title, but a life revealed through relationship with God.

The prophet continued by teaching that as long as you are alive, you will face challenges. The only time you will no longer be touched is when you are dead. Referencing Romans 8:36-37, he questioned why many believers become discouraged by battles, when scripture already reveals the reality of suffering and testing.

He asked the church a searching question:

In the midst of challenges, how often do you remain quiet before God?

The man of God taught that remaining requires patience. A believer who lacks patience cannot remain in God during difficult seasons.

Drawing from 1 John 4:4, he reminded the church that despite opposition, trials and affliction, believers carry a greater One within them. Above all, we are more than conquerors.
