We are continuing to pray

🙏🏻 Let's pray that we have the hunger and thirsty for winning souls for our Lord Jesus Christ.

🙏🏻 Let's pray for the lost so that they can be saved.

● Lord Jesus did only what He saw the Father do.

John 5:19 NKJV
[19] *Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner*

✝️ Hebrews 7:25 NKJV
[25] *Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them*

● Likewise, we should do only what we see our Lord doing, and what is He doing " *He ever lives to make intercession"*

● We make a big mistake by labelling some Christians as intercessors. This tends to imply that the rest of us are relieved of the responsibility. *Not so* !!!. All of us are to do what we see our Lord Jesus doing-
praying for souls.

● So let's learn how to pray effectively for the lost and join our Lord in doing the main thing.

[23] *Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.*


🙏🏻 Let's pray for ourselves that we love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to others. Pray against the spirit of selfishness.

● Sharing the gospel with those *for whom no one has prayed* is like encouraging a blind man to see the sunset with you. It is a hopeless case, for he is blind. He cannot see.

● And unless the Holy Spirit removes the demonic blinders and opens his mind and heart to the gospel, he cannot be saved because the things of God are foolishness to him.

[14] *But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.*

● A lost person sees the gospel as stupid and foolish, but it is the *strong man* in his life that causes this negative attitude toward the gospel to go away by praying for the lost souls.

● As we are in the year of building the church of God, let us all work together in building by praying together as a church for the lost so that they may be saved.

🙏🏻 Pray asking the Holy Spirit to help you to be the one to take the first step into praying for the lost and go and win souls, without waiting to be pushed.

Where do you spend most of the time?
What do you say about most of the time?

⏹️ *Isaiah 43:26* AMP
[26] *Remind Me [of your merits with a thorough report],* *let us plead and argue our case together; State your position, that you may be proved right.*

▶️ In this scripture , did God make this statement because He is forgetful? NO. This is an invitation for us to bring forth our arguments and strong reasons in pleading our cases.

▶️ As we are in the year of building the church of God, we have some issues or cases we might be having and we need them to be dealt with, because they might be hindering us in building the church of God. So for God to come through for us or to answer us we must be able to present the statements of fact, promises and declarations He has made concerning your issue or matter at hand

⏹️ *Hosea 14:2* AMP
[2] *Take the words [confessing your guilt] with you and return to the Lord.* *Say to Him, “Take away all our wickedness; Accept what is good and receive us graciously,* *So that we may present the fruit of our lips (gratitude).*

▶️. You see the scripture above , God wants you to put Him in remembrance of His Word.

▶️. Acts 4:24-31 is a good example of a prayer of petiton After Peter and John had begun to work many miracles in the Name of Jesus, the authorities of their day were unable to deny the power of the Word of God and their faith, but threatened and ordered them not to preach any further about Jesus.

▶️ The content of this prayer is evidently based on God's Word. The apostles brought God's Word back to Him, putting Him in remembrance as they corporately pleaded their case. They spoke in specific terms based on His Word.

🙏🏻 Perhaps you want to see certain changes in
- the church,
- in your life, or in the life of your family members,
- in your business
- in your finances
- in your community
*Pray* , be sure to present your cases to God with strong reasons , based on His Word. *Pray* for telling God why you want the above areas/ situations to change.

🙏🏻 Pray that you will be able to understand the mind of God on subject of your prayer, such an understanding becomes the confidence and authority upon which your prayers are made.

▶️. As we are building the church of God definitely we need to see some changes, so give yourself more *time to study the Word of God , the Bible* which is our *manual book* so that when we get into prayer we will be able to give God back His Word.

▶️. Hannah, the mother of Prophet Samuel, prayed this way. Hannah did not simply made a vow to God, but she did more . She actually made a petition to God, giving Him strong reasons why she should have a child and her prayer was answered.

🙏🏻 What is it that you want to see results, pray a prayer that can cause God to answer you. Pray a prayer that can bring forth fruits.

🙏🏻 Pray presenting your story, your case, your situation in such a way that it cannot be denied. And refuse to quit until you get that note of victory.

Why should my face not look sad when the city where my ancestors are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?” [4] The king said to me, “ *What is it you want?”* Then I prayed to the God of heaven,

*️⃣ *What is it you want*
This is a very important question.

1️⃣what are you expecting in this year of building the church
2️⃣What do you want to see in your family.
3️⃣what do you want to see on your ministry
4️⃣what do you want to see in your business

#️⃣ Pray that you can have direction, vision of what you want in this year and up your future.

1 Corinthians 3:11-14 NIV

[12] If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, [13] their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. [14] If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

*️⃣ *in every building, foundation is the most important part*
*️⃣the deeper the foundation, determine the larger the building
*️⃣also the shallow the foundation determines the small your house is.

[16] *Confess your trespasses to one* *another, and pray for one another, that you* *may be healed. The effective, fervent* *prayer of a righteous man avails much.*

🌀 As we continue to pray, may we always remember that God hears and answers the prayer of a righteous man. As we are in the year of building, let's try by all means to be in right standing with God so that He can hear our prayers.

🌀 The man who can pray has nothing to fear. The key that changes God's promises to reality is prayer.

It's year of building the church of God, yes, but we also have personal things that we want in our lives.

✳️ Pray confessing the sins that you might have done knowingly and unknowingly

[17 *] pray without ceasing,*

✝️ *Isaiah 62:7* NKJV
[7] *And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes* *Jerusalem a praise in the earth.*

We need to pray continually because there are unseen forces which seek to hinder our prayers ( Remember the story of Daniel). They wage war against the angels bringing the answers to our prayers.

🌀 Our prayers have to be *effectual* , they have to be able to produce the desired results, they have to be productive and fruitful.

🌀 Our prayers have to be *fervent* that is to be boiling, hot, warfare prayers said passionately from the heart, violent, strong.

✳️ Pray that you may be strong in prayer, so that they produce results.

*Note* : only the prayer of a righteous man can pray, The prayer of a sinner is an abomination to the Lord. Holiness is a must for the prayers to be answered.

🌀 In this year of building the church of God, let's strive to be Holy because Him our Lord Jesus Christ said it " Be holy for I Am holy".

✳️ Pray to the Father Who hears and answers prayers. What is it that you are desiring our Father to do for you. ( The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much)

We are continuing to pray;

*1* ) Romans 15:1-2 MSG
[1-2] Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”

🌀 In the church , in and around our communities, our neighborhood as children of God , the kingdom builder, the church builders, lets strive to have genuine relationships with the people around us, as many have been abused, beaten, battered, and broken to pieces by the way we are in this morden world that is promising so much but deliver so little. Let me repeat this morden world that is promising so much but it delivers so little. May God help us.

✳️ Pray that the Holy Spirit may speak to those people who are around us, in our communities, who have been abused, beaten, hearts broken come and seek help in the church

✳️. Pray that you and me be there for God's people, pray that may our church be the cave of Adullam where people would come for spiritual and physical help

I Samuel 22:1 NKJV
[1] David therefore departed from there and *escaped* to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him.

[3-6] That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out. “I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way Scripture puts it.

🌀Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. *May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in us* so that we get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony to the God and Father of our Master Jesus!

✳️ Let's pray asking the Holy Spirit to help us to be *what He wants us to be* so that we will be able of help to the people in the church and in our communities.

[1] Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?

🌀 I have realised that when the church is trying to really run with the vision, the devil fights the people (church). He causes people to fight one another.

The devil would use people in church to destroy what is being built by others. Critisms, speaking anyhow, gossip, demoralizing others, not concerned about what is happening in the church, fault finders, no sense of belonging, no supporting one another in departments, etc

✳️ Let's pray refusing to be used by the devil to break other's spirit, refuse to be the devil's agent, refuse to be people pleaser, cry for God's will upon your life.

✳️ Declare I am a church builder, I am ready to be called names, but I will focus on doing the will of God

I am ready to evangelise and do soulwinning

I am ready to build, not to destroy

I will not let critisms pull me down

I will pursue peace with all men, for I am a builder of God's church

I will not focus on any negativity but will always stay positive

✳️ Speak the Blood of Jesus over our lives and our families.

*1* ) John 21:15-17 NKJV
[15] So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” [16] He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” [17] He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

✳️ Pray that we keep all old and new members and 1st time people who come and still coming through the front door and *quietly going out through the* *back* door or that same *front* door..

🌀 Why praying for them, the reason being these people quickly go out the back door is that we haven't expected anything from them.
As a church we just bring them in and turn away, leave them loose and they don't know what to do. They have no expectation, so they leave in search of church that expects them to be involved.

Sometimes we do not show people love we fake..this year of building the church we need to put *an extra effort to be church builders and keep all old and new members and first time comers in the church...*

[19] Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. [20 *] Do not destroy the work of God* for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense.

Romans 15:2-3 NKJV
[2] Let each of us please his neighbor for his *good, leading to edification* . [3] *For even Christ did not please Himself;* but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”

1 Corinthians 8:1 CEB
[1] Now concerning meat that has been sacrificed to a false god: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes people arrogant, but *love builds people up.*

🌀 We need to build one another, pleasing the next person in order to build him/her up for we are the church that we are building.. Let's not destroy one another with carrying bitterness, hatred, gossip, etc) .. Remember Christ did not even please Himself..

✳️ Pray asking the Holy Spirit to help each and everyone of us in the church to pursue the things which make for peace and which may edify another.. ( love, unity, oneness, togetherness, to be each other's keeper, etc). We need to pray for one another

[29] Don’t let any foul words come out of your mouth. Only say what is helpful when it is needed for building up the community so that it benefits those who hear what you say. [30] *Don’t make the Holy Spirit of God unhappy—* you were sealed by him for the day of redemption.

Where there is a church that exalts Christ and preaches the true Word of God, Satan will attack and he does not want families to hand down righteousness, so he tries to break up the families..

NOTE : The world we are living in now, the devil is using the immoral lust filled society to attack the family... remember CHURCH STARTS WITH A FAMILY... He has made it hard for the family to survive, so as church builders we have to help to preserve the families, to maintain them in their original state..

✳️ Pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to be church builders by starting to value our families.. Eph 6:1-8

✳️ Pray that The Holy Spirit controls families so that we can experience the blessedness through everyone...

✳️ Let's pray that the church of Jesus (Hospic) be a family blessing church, a family and community building church..

✳️ Let's pray that God will help us to *build an ark of safety in these troublesome times..* and ask God to help us to pay attention to each and everyone who comes in our church and welcome them to the family of God..

✳️ Pray that we refuse to be ignorant and loose people who come to be part of the family....may we have a good relationship with each other..

Building the Church of God Involves Several Things

1️⃣ TERRITORIAL DOMINANCE

You must have authority and control over the territory where you are going to build.
❗ You cannot build where you are not permitted.

This means you must be totally delivered and walking in spiritual authority.

> 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

These scriptures clearly show that we have been given power and authority:

Over the devil

Over demons

Over situations and circumstances

👉 Today, be sure that you are truly delivered.
👉 Ensure there is no influence or control from the devil or his agents.
👉 Take charge of your life.
👉 You are above every circumstance.

If you discern that you need deliverance, command the evil spirits to leave in the Name of Jesus Christ.
