PRAYER FOR ALL PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS:

O Jesus, our great High Priest, hear my humble prayers on behalf of Your servants. Give them a deep faith, bright and firm hope and a burning love which will ever increase in the course of their lives.

In their loneliness, comfort them.
In their sorrows, strengthen them. In their frustrations, point out to them that it is through suffering that the soul is purified, and show them that they are needed by the Church; they are needed by souls; they are needed for the work of redemption.

O Loving Mother Mary, Mother of Priests and religious, take to your heart your children who are close to you because of the power which they have received to carry on the work of Christ in a world which needs them so much. Be their comfort, be their joy, be their strength, and especially help them to live and to defend the ideals of consecrated celibacy.
Amen.

The Sacrament of Confession, also known as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, is a Catholic sacrament that involves confessing sins to a priest and receiving forgiveness.

Steps

Examine your conscience: Review your thoughts, words, and actions to identify when you've sinned

Be sorry for your sins: Feel genuine regret for your sins

Confess your sins: Tell the priest about your sins, including how many times you've committed them

Resolve to change: Promise to avoid sinning in the future

Do penance: Complete the act of reparation assigned by the priest

Receive absolution: The priest forgives your sins and reconciles you with the Church

Benefits

The Sacrament of Confession helps you:

Be honest with yourself and God

Be at peace with Christ and others

Grow in virtue and avoid sin

Dear Lord, I do not know what will happen to me today — I only know that nothing will happen that was not foreseen by you and directed to my greater good from all eternity. I adore your holy and unfathomable plans, and submit to them with all my heart for love of you, the pope, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

You may PRESSURE a seminarian to become a priest, or you may ENCOURAGE him to stay faithful. Both actions have the same intentions, but usually end with different outcomes.

Have you faced an "impossible situation"? Jesus did and showed He could overcome any obstacle. He is God and can do all things He wills, including in our lives.

Jesus fed thousands with just five loaves and two fish, a humanly impossible feat, showing His commitment to "feed us" in every way. This miracle symbolizes His ability to nourish our souls with grace to face life's challenges. However, we often struggle to overcome challenges and to discern God's will from our own limited ideas. We might pray for what we think is right, but God's plan is always greater and perfect for us. We need to seek, surrender to, and have faith in His plan.

Reflect on your future and worries. God has a perfect plan for every situation. Your role is to seek that plan and trust in its fulfillment.

Let us Pray

Lord, I know You can do all things and that You will the good in all things. Help me to turn and to surrender to Your perfect divine will. As I surrender to it, help me to have perfect faith that You will bring Your will to fruition. Jesus, I trust in You. Amen
