Mathew 5:8
As believers in Christ, we should have a heart that is pure. A heart without deciet, a heart after God.
For the blessing of a pure heart is seeing God. Not only seeing him in visions and dreams but seeing God manifesting in our lives. Such it's a blessing.
In John 1:47 when Jesus saw Nathaniel under a tree he said a true Isrealite indeed in whom there is no deceit. Jesus saw his heart, that's a pure heart, without deciet.
Remember Christianity is the matter of the heart, our hearts are a contact point with the Holy Spirit.
God speaks to us through our hearts, and if our hearts are contaminated we will not hear him. He says cast your burdens unto me, meaning cast everything that is burdening you, whether be envy, jealousy, hatred, deciet, untruthfullness, pain of the past etc. Cast it to him and he will give you his burden which is not burdensome. He knows that the burden you have is blocking you from seeing him.
If someone speak negativity about you don't involve yourself in such talks, think about mainting a pure heart and never let your heart to fight and be involved in fighting flesh and blood.
We have been given grace to serve him, it is by his grace that he chose us. Note that the assignment of Grace is to give us access, we have been given an access to serve him with a pure heart so that we may receive his blessing, and the blessing is to see Him.
So brethren whatever that is noble, whatever that is lovely, what is pure, what ever that is right think about such(Phillipians 4) to maintain a pure heart.
