True faithfulness means being completely honest, dependable and loyal in every area of life. It's not about perfection. It's about consistency, integrity and character that mirrors the very nature of God.

Jesus taught us an important principle: "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much" (Luke 16:10). Faithfulness in small things prepares us for greater responsibilities. The person who is reliable in their daily commitments, honest in their dealings and loyal in their relationships is the one God can trust with bigger purposes.

But here's the reality: faithfulness is costly. It requires saying no to shortcuts, resisting temptation and choosing what's right even when no one is watching. It demands discipline, sacrifice and a commitment to God's character above all else.

Yet with the help of God's Spirit, we can grow in this virtue. And one day, those who have remained faithful will hear the words every believer longs to hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant."

The Greek word for "God-breathed" is theopneustos, meaning the Scriptures are divinely inspired by God Himself. Not just influenced by Him. Not merely human thoughts about God. But actually breathed out by the Creator.

This verse assures Christians that the Bible is a completely reliable, authoritative source for spiritual growth and maturity. It's not a collection of human ideas, cultural traditions or religious opinions. It's God's Word, given to teach us, correct us and train us in righteousness.

But how do we know that's true? Can the Bible's claims about itself be trusted? Is there evidence that it truly is divinely inspired?

Jesus Christ taught crucial spiritual lessons about the ‘fruit’ of our lives. Not just good intentions or religious activity, but the actual evidence of God's Spirit working within us.

He said, "By their fruit you will recognise them" (Matthew 7:20). Our lives are meant to produce something real, something visible, something that reflects the transformative power of God.

But what exactly is this fruit? And how well are we producing it?

The truth is, we cannot manufacture spiritual fruit through human effort. Jesus made that clear: "Apart from Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). The fruit He desires, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, comes only through the work of God's Spirit in our lives.

Christ is cultivating supernatural fruit in the lives of His disciples. To understand that miraculous effect, we must first understand the cause and ultimate source: the Spirit of God.

Our eternal life depends on this understanding. Are you bearing the fruit God expects?
