TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, thank You for everything You have entrusted to me. Thank You for every person, opportunity, resource, gift and assignment. Give me wisdom to steward them faithfully without allowing them to take Your place in my heart. Keep me sensitive enough to recognise when You are changing a season, changing a method or developing the assignment. Deliver me from the need to be indispensable. Help me raise people who can carry responsibility beyond me. May I never protect my position at the expense of Your purpose, or protect a structure at the expense of the people it was created to serve. If anything You gave me has become more important than You, give me grace to put it back in its proper place. Above everything I build, achieve or become, let my greatest desire remain knowing You and obeying You. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
